Verona is a very, very beautiful city . Highly recommended.

Pros: The Hotel was satisfactory. The room was very spacious and the beds quite comfortable. The Reception personnel was fluent in English and we had no problem communicating. I would say that the breakfast was OK. Not a huge variety of things , but what was available was satisfactory. The Breakfast hours also were very convenient. Checking in and checking out also very easy.

Cons: If there is anything negative with the Hotel is the location. Verona is a relatively small city. To have an idea, within 15 minutes you can get by bus from the airport to the Citys (only) train station, which is next to the city center. Well, to get from the city center to the Hotel you need 25-30 minutes. Its not that the hotel is further to the city center than the airport, but in Verona the only means of public transport is the Bus. And the bus makes a lot of stops. A lot. The good thing is that bus routes are very frequent but only during the day and not on weekends. You need to be most careful if you are out late at night because you may end up waiting for 45 minutes for a bus to return to the Hotel without any taxi on sight. [Also : get your bus tickets when you arrive at the train station . It will be cheaper than buying them on the bus from the driver]. Other than that, I would say that the Hotel may be a little bit noisier than you expect when you first get there. It seems to be in an isolated place but on the contrary, you get exterior noises all night. Maybe this had to do with the fact that our room was on the first floor but still Finally one last thing is that the breakfast buffet needs expanding. The Hotel is very big (I believe that it must have more than 80 rooms) and there is only one (1) coffee machine, one relatively small (1) pod with scrambled eggs etc. As a result you see people waiting in lines everywhere and staff running up and down refilling all the time - which is good, but can be reduced because if you add the Staff to the people waiting in the lines, you get a havoc in the breakfast area almost every morning!

Pros: It was extremely cheap, but the room, bed and bathroom were all spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Bus stop is just a couple of minutes away. No issues whatsoever arose during my stay.

Cons: I arrived at the 4 starts hotel that I should have a room booked at 1am. They first gave me a tripple room that no one can move inside as it is too small so I went down and told them that I cannot stay in such a tight room and that I already booked a double room with a king bed! They told me that i ll have to stay in this room until the next day as they do not have other rooms available.. I said ok as I am soooo tired.. I tried to open the room, but the key didn't work.. had to go down again and asked for another key. The guy came with me and opened it with the other key and left.. when i entered the room, i put the key inside its slot to open the lights. The lights didn't work!!! I opened the flash light of my phone and i called the guy, luckily he had told me the reception number (9) as the phone was so old with no instructions on it.. after 3 mins, he replied, saying that i just need to put it in the slot!!! I told him I did, and he came up again to try, and he found that he can not make it work!!! I waited for 15 mins, and he came back with another key to try, and it didn't work. He then told me that i ll have to put it in the slot outside the room and then inside it again to work!!! He tried to make it work for 10 mins!!!! keeping going back and forth inside and outside of the room!!! Finally, after 10 mins, the lights worked, but these are the steps: 1. you have to go outside the room 2. close the door 3. put the key in the slot 4. open the door 5. remove the key from the outside slot 6. put it quickly inside the inner slot of the room 7. quickly close the door (while you are inside).. this is the process to keep the lights on!!!!! And if u say that this is the normal process, I ll tell you try to keep the card inside the inner room slot and open the door, you will be surprised that the light will go off! Breakfast was not good The receptionist made a mistake writing the company name, and when we told her, she said she could not change it.
