    Have had nice stay and...

Pros: Have not had breakfast and the location was ok, given there were stores nearby to go to.
Cons: They should consider adding a mini frigidaire to be able to store beverages or food.

    A place just for sleeping,...

Pros: The rooms were clean and the cleaning service was thorough, although there were days when they forgot to replenish my drinking water.
Cons: No wifi in the rooms at all, only in the lobby. Liars. The staff was rude and racist. Especially those in the restaurant. They made me wait 40 minutes for a damn coffee. I heard them calling me Chino behind my back, even though I understand Spanish. I asked the workers in the restaurant if I could sit at a seat because I needed wifi to finish a job and the lobby was full. They declined and told me to ‘go back to your room’, and laughed as I walked away. On top of that, it was 2 hours before their damn closing time.

    Very Good

    Very good

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. I arrived very early from an overnight bus with lots of luggage and they were able to rent me a room for an extra day fairly cheaply so I could get some sleep and get settled in, then kept that room for the weekend so I didn't have to move again. The restaurant had nice breakfasts. I had to leave my luggage behind the front desk for an afternoon after I checked out, while I went to Teotihuacn, and they had a good ticketed system to do this.
Cons: It was generally fine but here is some essential info to consider if you're thinking of staying here: 1. The internet. It worked in the lobby and the restaurant but don't believe the comments that say it has internet throughout the hotel. It is supposed to but it almost never worked in the room so everyone had to come down to the lobby or restaurant (actually a little cafe) to get online. I asked if this was normal and was told it was. People were having personal conversations and watching videos etc all together in the lobby area. It was really annoying not having internet in the room as it was essential for booking stuff/finding out info etc. for my holiday and when I was tired at the end of the day, I really didn't want to be sitting in the lobby to do an online search. 2. the restaurant/cafe was closed a lot, even during the official opening hours. Maybe because the hotel was fairly quiet while I was there. 3. There is no safe to leave your passport, although it was fine leaving it the room, but it's always a risk to do that. 4. The area - not somewhere to hang out at night so you you either have to just stay out late in the other colonias or go back, have your rest/shower then schelp back out on public transport again, which takes a while, although the hotel is only a couple of blocks from Nios Hroes metro. Doctores rea doesn't feel as dodgy as some guidebooks make out, but it's not a tourist area so it's 'real' people and supermarkets, not cafes and restaurants, in case that's useful to know. As an older (50s) single female traveller I had no problems. People were generally very helpful. Having said all that, it was a good last minute cheap option to stay relatively centrally in relative comfort
