Pros: Was on our route, and was quiet location.

Cons: No toilet in the room, had to go across passage to the one allocated for the room we were in. I booked this hotel because it said it had a restaurant, when we got there it was closed, not open Friday - Sunday nights, this was very disappointing as they should stipulate this on the site.

It was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Pros: The hotel has a pretty little garden and is situated next to a water canal. The room was clean and had enough space for 2 adults and 3 children.

Cons: Unfortunately, check-in is not until 17:00 and the hotel is a little outside the centre of Joinville.

Pros: The outside of the property and the grounds looked well kept and welcoming. The receptionist on arrival was very helpful and accommodating

Cons: Once inside the property is not very inspiring. The first room we were shown did not have a toilet in the room, but on the landing. We were offered another room which was bigger and had a private toilet, but for which we had to pay extra as this was considered an upgrade. The shower did not have an attachment for the shower head, so really was only a handheld shower. The shower gel was not of any great quality. Both the WiFi and the a/c stopped working at midnight. When I mentioned this at check out the receptionist seemed very surprised and said that no one else had complained about this. When I mentioned that the shower did not have an attachment for the shower head her response was that this is normal. I was not impressed by her lack of understanding and total lack of concern for the above mentioned failings.

Lovely spot for stopover on journey to Italy

Pros: we had a suite, very large enormous bedroom with sitting area and small kitchenette which is off to the side and reasonably equipped for use. Very large bathroom equipped with step less wet room, 2 sinks and a high toilet with support rails. so it seemed suitable for anyone in need of these facilities. There is a second bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobes. Outside terrace both front and back and access to the walkway along the canal where there were boats moored. Beautiful grounds, loads of parking and the hotel restaurant was good and inexpensive

Pros: Beautiful hotel, so much nicer than Id expected! Our family room was lovely, with a little room for our son which he (and we) appreciated enormously! Beautiful views over the courtyard. Lovely gentleman at reception and safe storage for our bikes.
