Comfortable stay but inaccurate city tax information

Pros: Room was very clean and bed comfortable. No noise from the street or the hotel.

Cons: The actual city tax is TRIPLE that which is mentioned on Booking.com. 5.20 per person per day. I asked at reception why we weren't informed of this before but they blamed Booking.com. When I contacted Booking.com they referred me back to the hotel. The hotel needs to update the information on Booking.com and ensure clients are made aware of any changes to costs. We only stayed 3 nights but this quickly adds up and travelers should be aware.

Pros: Refurbished well appointed comfortable rooms.

Cons: The most unhelpful disinterested hotel staff I have come across in some time! Made for unpleasant awkward arrival in foreign country that continued throughout our stay. Repeated requests for teabags for our room denied. Apparently only available at time of arrival contrary to guest services guide. Had to purchase soap as none supplied. Shower flooded bathroom every time used. Towel warmer didnt work.
