Lovely place to stay, in a wonderful area

Pros: we didn't stay for a meal, but what we did see looked very good, the hotel was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the wine tasting and tour was very good, I don't speak Spanish, but they did their best to accommodate me and my girlfriend translated where she could, but I had a great time.

Chill place right on the wine producer's cellars

Pros: The place was really comfy, awesome garden, really nice breakfast (don't miss the rye bread and jams), and right on the wine cellar (we got to visit it the next morning and do a wine tasting). It was overall a great experience

Pros: Well-designed and maintained hotel and winery in a good location. Had a great dinner, pleasant walk along the river nearby and a nice chat and tour around the property from the staff. Would definitely come back!

Pros: The interior is classic and cozy, our room comes with a terrace which is nice! I love the music plays in the garden which match the mood of the hotel.

Cons: a bit far from Logrono, so if you cant really enjoy drinking in Logrono and get back driving.

If you like wine, this is the place to stay

Pros: We loved the welcoming atmosphere, all the staff appeared genuinely interested in us enjoying our stay. The wine tour and tasting were excellent. Sofia, our guide, was charming, intelligent and enthusiastic about the hsitorical and cultural connections as well as the wine. There is a reasonable restaurant nearby.

Cons: We would have like to have dined at the hotel, but we didn't know we had to book in advance. It's possible we overlooked.

Hotel-Bodega La Casa del Cofrade is a comfortable hotel. The staff are exceptionally welcoming.

Pros: Our stay at Hotel-Bodega La Casa del Cofrade was originally a simple one night stay on our journey From Denia to Santander where we would board the ferry to Portsmouth. It turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. From the time we walked through the front door to the time we left we felt as though the staff were doing all they could to really look after us. I fully intend to return to this hotel and stay longer at some time in the future. We were fortunate to have arrived on a day when the hotel was hosting a 'Frank Sinatra theme night' There was an evening meal provided in the wine cellar and later in the grounds of the hotel a singer performed many Sinatra classics. He was quite brilliant. The food and wine was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. It was an evening my wife and I will remember for a long time. Normally, visitors to the hotel can have a tour of the bodega. Unfortunately, our schedule was a little tight and that was not possible for us. We were still able to purchase a case of the excellent wine we had sampled with the meal.

Pros: Exceptionally warm welcome. Lots of local information and an unexpected tour of the cellar and an interesting introduction to their connection with the now lost local monastery. Close to Logrono, which we enjoyed in the evening. Good breakfast was an extra cost.

Cons: Our room faced the road but luckily was not busy or noisy. On arrival there seemed to be an unusual odour in our room, which disappeared after opening the windows!
