Amazing stay and experience

Pros: Hotel is walking distance from the restaurants, markets and shops. It is very clean and quiet. Staff is very nice and will go out of the way to help you with any questions or concerns.

Pros: My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Immediately upon arriving, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. After checking in, they also let us know that we could book activities (boat ride, tours etc.) through the front desk - which we ended up doing. We hadn't booked some activities prior to arriving as they were vastly more expensive online. However if you book through the front desk you are often provided a much better rate, including transportation to/from said activity. Bear in mind that when booking activities this way, you are given the option to pay in either Euros or Turkish Liras. The hotel also has a money exchange counter which was super helpful, providing very good (but not the best) rates. Both the room and bathroom were really clean, with bottles of water provided as standard. Breakfast was provided and slightly varied every day. On our final night, we were also provided with complimentary plate of fruit. The hotel is situated in the perfect location (for us at least) as we were one minute away form a tram stop and had various markets and numerous cafes/restaurants within a minute's walk. It is also located within walking distance to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi palace.

Cons: Rooms were not soundproofed and thus we could hear other hotel guests coughing or having conversations. Whilst this wasn't too bad for us, it may affect others' decisions regarding this hotel. This is also something to consider if you choose to book a room with a balcony, as there are trams on the main road that go past quite frequently.

Great place to rest when visiting Istambul

Pros: Fantastic location, a few minutes away from Sultanahmet Square. The room was small but confortable, nice bed, everything was clean. It was quiet, we could hear the rumbling of passing trams during the day but it did not bother us at night. Excellent breakfast, with different options each day. All staff members were polite and helpful. We forgot a pair of sunglasses after checking out and they texted me when they found them. We arranged private transfer to Istambul Airport, and the service was great (although expensive). Would love to go back next time.

Sleep interrupted on 4 nights by 4 different things ... didn't get much rest :-(

Cons: We asked for a quiet room - unfortunately, we got a room on the tram side of the building which kept us awake. On the 2nd night, we were awoken around 12:40 am by the staff knocking on our door multiple times. They had the wrong room :-( On the 3rd night, we were kept awake by noise from the other guest rooms. We found out later that they had a very early flight to catch and stayed up very late and then got up very early to leave. The rooms are not very soundproof. On the 4th night, around 12:10 am the electricity went off and on, followed by a loud noise in the hallway for a little while. Again, our rest was interrupted and we found it hard to get back to sleep. The rooms are small. A basic requirement is to get a good night's sleep - we just didn't get it for the nights we were there causing us to be tired during the days. The staff and manager were great - unfortunately, the issues are going to be hard to fix I suspect. We specifically chose this hotel as the ratings were good - we wish we hadn't.

Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful, they gave me all the tips and advice to explore Istanbul. Big thanks to Enver who helped me and guided me during my stay at the hotel. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed everyday if needed. The location is absolutely perfect, you have access to Marmaray station or other tramways with less than 5min walk

The location is excellent, and the hotel is great for those who are not picky about the size of the rooms.

Pros: location and Russian-speaking staff (in particular, a guy from Turkmenistan). staff overall are the best part of the hotel - very welcoming and courteous
