A perfect room with a view

Pros: The view and the balcony were definitely worth the extra cost. We sat out every morning and evening. The bed was large and very comfortable and the shower was huge with great water pressure. The fridge had complimentary bottled water and good tea/coffee making facilities that were replenished every day. Breakfast was relaxed and delicious but the yummy little cooked tomatoes were not available every day. Our complimentary cocktails were made to order and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: There wasnt a lot of drawer space but it was adequate for a short break.

This is a great hotel to stay in for a short trip to Florence, with a nice view of the river and easily walkable

Pros: It is in a great location in Florence, and very walkable to anywhere you need to go.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit crowded for such a nice hotel, and the towels seemed a bit old.

Pros: Very central location to most popular sites esp Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio & Dumo. Lots of good restaurants nearby including in Altrarno. Hotel very comfortable, chic & clean. Booked a room with a view over the Arno which was stunning. Staff at breakfast very pleasant & helpful.

Pros: The view was fabulous, the room was quiet for sleeping, the staff was helpful and courteous, the breakfast was very good.

Amazing hotel in a prime location

Pros: Beautiful hotel at an amazing location. Very high quality breakfast. We stayed at the apartments that are in a separate building (about 500 meters from the hotel). Very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with windows overlooking Ponte Vecchio. Really can't think for a more convenient location.

Cons: Check-in for the apartments is somewhat complicated - checking in at the hotel, then taking a cab to the apartments. The hotel staff make it all seamless, but it still takes longer than just staying in the main building.

Perfect and we would stay here again.

Pros: The bellhop was incredibly helpful and courteous with our bags all the way up to the apartment. All of our requests were mediately responded to. The view from the balcony and the windows were incredible. We could see the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio bridge, and Palazzio vecchio as well as much of this City. We were right in the middle of everything. the apartment was five minutes walking distance from the uffizi and all of the attractions. Hotel BALISTRERI did a great job. We couldnt figure out how to control the air conditioning unit and the room was freezing. But during a heat wave, that was not a complaint at all.

Wonderful

Excellent, wonderful city with plenty to see

Pros: Proximity to all the major sites was excellent , all in walking distance. The room was comfortable although a little small. Balcony was a welcome bonus allowing breakfast outside at a small additional cost. The staff were excellent , very welcoming and helpful

Cons: Perhaps a slightly larger room but certainly comfortable
