Great location and perfect short...

Pros: The location was superb. The reception staff very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.

Cons: Only thing is the prepaid deposit they keep on top of charging for the room. This needs to be looked into as other properties in Paris don’t operate like this. I’m still waiting for the prepayment to be refunded.

Fine for one person when...

Pros: Very well situated small hotel with very pleasant staff who, however, were constantly dealing with maintenance issues - lift, keys, etc. Their rather resigned approach suggested this was not infrequent.

Cons: Lift was out of order for most of the 3 night stay. Room was on the 4th floor. Access card/key to the room failed every day. View onto a light well. Shower did not drain properly so no long showers. Water rapidly overflowed into the bathroom and then bedroom. Space in bedroom and bathroom cramped but OK. Room - double - would be hard with two persons

Great staff, perfect location, reasonable...

Pros: Great location, fabulous staff and a working elevator to bring up my luggage.

Cons: The room was quite small, but that was to be expected for the price I paid. The bathroom was so cramped I had to sit on the toilet sideways to use it. But, again, it was still worth it and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Oh, and perhaps I didn't see them, but I couldn't find any Do Not Disturb signs. I had a slightly awkward moment when housekeeping came in unannounced.

Pros: The room had a nice view of the beautiful rooftops.

Cons: Be careful that a deposit is taken out when you make the booking, and then you pay for the room at the reception desk. The refund of deposit money can be delayed for a couple of days or even weeks. Also, I had a room next to the elevator and it was noisy.

Pros: 1. The location is great! 2. The price of the room is worth the value. 3. The room is clean.

Cons: 1. The sound proof of the hotel is very poor, you can basically hear everything happens in the hallway. 2. The room is very very small, the facilities are big old.

Not perfect, but very cosy...

Pros: There were some things I didn't like and I'd criticise normally. But generally, somehow I felt very well there. I had the feeling that they are making efforts to do things well. Very friendly staff. Nice room, nice bathroom. Small, but cute balcony. And of course, the location is excellent! I'm often picky, but somehow the atmosphere was very good, this can be my target hotel when I go back to Paris again.

Cons: Some things were a bit "unpolished" could be improved. Like a long (curled up) electric wire was hanging from the wall next to the bathroom. The balcony was small (well, it's in the middle of Paris, good enough), but although they could have placed two small chairs for the room for two people, they only used one. The water tap for the shower was installed reversed, so you needed to set it to hot to have cold water and vice vers (but the bathroom is nice). The breakfast lacked a bit of selections. eg. no scrambled eggs, nor orange juice. For this price, I usually have much better) and many things were empty when I arrived half hour before the end of the breakfast period.
