Cons: Room was so cold, you could hang meat in there............AC controls not available, everything controlled via computer from office. You could have the unit off or on, and nothing else. Simply unacceptable.

Pros: If you want a hotel that is as close to the Vatican as you can get, you should stay at the Tmark Hotel Vaticano; it is right across the street from the entrance to the Vatican museums. In addition, the hotel is walking distance to two metro stations, so well-placed to get around most of Rome. We chose a junior suite with a terrance that overlooked the street, and even with the terrace door open, the room was surprisingly quiet, even in early mornings when the buses arrived to discharge the tourists. The room was very comfortable. The hotel's roof top bar was a nice place to sit and relax with a drink before heading out to fight the crowds in Rome.

Cons: The room safe was broken and despite the hotel staff's best efforts couldn't be fixed. The breakfast at the hotel is disappointing and not good value for money; there are several cafes open early for breakfast in the area that are a better option.

Pros: The staffs were very friendly especially Olga! She helped me so much throughout the stay! I had a balcony over looking the Vatican City wall.

Cons: The bathroom was somewhat dirty. The water pressure at the shower is awful! The location is kinda weird as tourist going to Vatican will crowded all the walkway toward hotel.

Great location, disappointing facilities

Pros: - The beds were firm and extremely comfortable. - The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool. - There was a mini fridge in the room. - The location is perfect for visiting the Vatican museum (its across the street). There is also a tourist info shop next door and a super market less than 10 mins away. - When we asked for water at reception, they provided us with chilled bottled water. - We were allowed an extra 2 hour delayed checkout

Cons: - Considering the price per night and that is property is 4*, I just dont feel it was worth the money. There were limited facilities. - The kitchen flooded on one of the days and breakfast was missed as we had to leave the property by 9am. When I asked the chap at reception if there was any snacks that could be left for us until we got back and the answer was it wasnt his fault. - The room was cleaned when we left out the sign but were disappointed that toiletries and water were not replenished. According to reception they should have been. - There was a welcome gift of a bottle of wine but we do not drink alcohol so it would have been nice to receive an alternative. - There wasnt much of a reception/lobby area for sitting. - The service from the chap at reception was poor. The ladies are a lot more approachable. - luggage can be left at the hotel if you are early to checkin or wish to leave it and return on your final day but it will not be stored in a secure area. The area in which it is left can be accessed by anyone entering the hotel. For instance, if you leave the hotel by the stairs, you have to walk past the luggage storage area. This area is around the corner from reception so not monitored.- The breakfast was horrendous - dont waste your money.
