Overall a fantastic stay in Venice and would consider this hotel if I came back

Pros: The location was excellent close to the railway station and restaurants but away from the main tourist area so very quiet. Lovely garden and breakfast area

Pros: Super close walking distance to everything and amazing restaurants close by

Cons: Hard to say other than no screens on the windows so if you leave the windows open youre punching your luck with the misquotes

The hotel was fine. The room was small but we didnt spend much time in it so this wasnt a problem.

Pros: Great location. It was easy to get to from the train station. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The common courtyard was peaceful and cool. We had a small balcony overlooking the street and canal which was nice.

Cons: Fridge barely worked. It didnt chill anything in it. We couldnt stand upright in the shower because of a ceiling beam above it. Breakfast wasnt great but wasnt really needed anyway because there are plenty of places to eat food in Venice and eating out is one of the highlights of travelling.

Pros: The building faade and the location, close to the station and at a walking distance to the City Center. High ceilings. The reception area and the internal garden used for breakfast.

Cons: Old internal structure that definitely need restructuring. Floor and ceiling of our room level damaged or very used. Our room curtain was not opening properly, the window view was on a scrap area and the toilet mixers plated faucet totally gone.

Pros: Location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Building/decor is lovely. Quiet.

Cons: Lovely to be able to have breakfast in the courtyard but the pigeons made it unbearable and we gave up trying to sit outside in the end.

Pros: The location of the hotel is amazing...so convenient for exploring Venice and easy access to the bus station. The breakfast was also delicious. This was a return visit for us after spending 3 nights at the hotel earlier in the week.

Cons: The hotel room had a deep hole with sharp edges in the floor at the end of the bed, caused by missing mosaic tiles, which we didn't notice until my fiancee injured her foot and knee by stepping on it during the night. We let the staff know when we checked out. We were thanked for reporting it but did not receive an apology or any concern for the injury my fiancee received. We found this to be disappointing and hurtful, particularly given the price we paid for the room. This also took some of the shine off the fact that we got engaged at this hotel earlier in the week.

Pros: Beautiful building and Fantastic location in a quiet spot but close to everything. Stunning canal view from our room. Service was exceptional, Rebecca was friendly and helped us with everything from train tickets to dinner recommendations. Breakfast was incredible!
