    A Returning Customer

    Pros: Mica and her family is awesome! We have stayed at the Homestead Motel every time we have been to Branson about 5-6 times. We keep coming back because we know what to expect every time. Affordable but not lacking in any amenity. Not only is it American owned and operated, it is clean, comfortable, cozy, hot showers and you can really tell they care about their property as we hadn’t been back since before Covid-19 and we noticed the upgrades: electronic keypad door locks, stainless fridge and microwave, etc. Each time we are met with friendliness and willingness to ensure we know how to get tickets and know best places for food.

    Worst stay in Branson.

    Pros: The appearance of the motel was pretty. Ferns on every door... maybe spend that money on new mattresses!
    Cons: The beds were the hardest I've ever had in Branson, and I visit there at least 3 times a year. I was meeting my daughter from college (and her friends) for a mid semester hug and dinner. I thought she would be staying with them. She decided to stay with us instead of her friends. The owner told me it would be $10 extra (each night) if she stayed with us. We stayed 2 nights and were charged $34. We left the room CLEAN! No smoking, no pets... NO reason for the upcharge. Also, the owners state "American owned", but the merchant ID on my credit card is from Saudi Arabia. Plus, they have a chicken and duck pen right outside our room and were awakened at 6:30 AM to them wanting food, BOTH MORNINGS! My stay was to see my daughter and get some rest. My husband and I got NO sleep due to hard beds (likened to sleeping on the floor) and farm animals. Also, they called me and wanted to check in over the phone because they were going to a birthday party and said if I needed anything after I got there, they wouldn't be back on property until later that night. Almost like I was an inconvenience to their plans. If you won't be there, then hire someone to sit the desk while you're out! I paid to be the guest, not the other way around.
