Would stay when completed construction.

Pros: The hotel was under construction which was not portrayed by booking.com so it was a bit loud and a mess. Have stayed previously and enjoyed. Would have stayed in a different hotel had I know. It was under construction.

Cons: That the hotel was under construction and booking.com did not disclose. I would not have paid that much to stay in this hotel bc of the construction noise and mess. Would have chosen a different one.

Cons: Hotel was being remodeled, the hallway we stayed on was covered in plastic dust everywhere and construction workers started work at 730 all weekend ( Saturday and Sunday) we enjoyed St Augustine night life and woke up to hammering and a literal jack hammer less than 6 feet from our door.

Terrible service , a Mess...

Pros: This Holiday Inn should not be open! Most all of the floors and Greeting /Check In area is being renovated. Plastic sheets everywhere. Have only one functional elevator! Have to carefully steer your way through construction stuff to get to the only working elevator!! No Gym or facilities. Foyer bare and no service. Only a stern clerk working the counter …Entry doors don’t lock and barely close shut …our room keys don’t work properly and doors do not shut without pushing shut. Curt receptionist who obviously gets complaints from most guests. They should refund anyone staying here and definitely not the service you expect from Holiday Inn !! Holiday Inn has a history of hospitality and inviting service … one of the first chain hotels that served travelers back in history ! This hotel chain should NOT BE OPEN FOR SERVICE until IT IS COMPLETE And complete for guests.

Cons: SEE ABOVE ⬆️⬆️⬆️ NOTHING IS GREAT ABOUT THIS Holiday Inn in St Augustine … close it until you are finished with renovations… it’s a mess Shame on Corporate Holiday Inn for allowing this to represent your hotel chain !!

I will never book again

Pros: The staff was nice

Cons: Not many spoke English and they were doing construction on the entire building. We could’ve been hurt. We couldn’t sleep because they start early in the morning. The halls were stink and stuffy because they had cement and wood all through out the hall way. I feel like that’s something they need to tell people before booking. It’s a safety hazard. I’m pregnant and the smell made me sick.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable for our party of 6 and the hotel was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Cons: The hotel was undergoing renovations so things that would have normally been available like breakfast was not.

Pros: I was not overly pleased.

Cons: The entire place is in the midst of a huge renovation project. A person ought to be informed of this prior to booking or their stay. The location isn't really central in the historic or tourist section, despite the inclusion of "historic" in the description. Finally, they charge $18 a night for parking at a hotel that's on the side of a highway and a mile walk from any nightlife or attractions downtown. I'm sorry I stayed here.

Pros: Location to old towne St Augustine. Hot tub was hot.

Cons: Whole premises was under a mass renovation that we weren't warned about. ALL interior amenities absent. breakfast served was by no means a healthy alternative to the normal options. Beds uncomfortable. No compensation offered for these inconveniences.

Cons: Construction, noisy. A worker opened our door to our room . I was naked in bathroom getting ready for shower, door was cracked and my husband in bed. Why did construction workers have a key to a room that was occupied? Highly inappropriate and lady at front desk looked at me crazy, offered no apology
