Great hotel for a short stay

Pros: Very nice hotel we stayed at a renovated room on a higher level. Very cool to look over the park. There is free parking available. Entrance to the park is free for hotel guests but you have to pay per ride or buy a day pass for 6000 yen. Onsen was also very nice. Very nice view from the breakfast hall but if its raining you will not see mt Fuji.

Cons: It was very busy during the week already so had to wait like 15 minutes for breakfast to get a table. Also very busy in the park and you had waiting lines of 180 minutes per ride skip the line tickets are available for 2600 Yen per ride plus the fee of the attraction.

Great hotel and good value.

Pros: Great view of Mt Fuji, shuttle bus to Kawaguichiko, close to restaurant and shops.

Pros: The room was nice. Great view of Fujisan. Right next to bus stop. So I guess location. The staff are fantastic really helpful. There are convenience stores nearby. How could I nearly forget the onsen/public bath. It was incredible such a great experience. Several baths to choose from with a sauna too. My favourite was the outdoor bath.

Cons: Nothing really. Was a bit expensive but it was decent value for money. You had to prebook to see Mt Fuji in the morning which wasn't explained to me. Largely due to the language barrier.

Pros: The hotel was great . Rooms were very nice .The staff at check-in and breakfast were great . The free shuttle was a bonus . Loved that the bus from Tokyo stopped right at the hotel .

Cons: The restaurant staff were inexperienced,maybe new . We ate at the macaroni restaurant both nights. Night 1 the food was good but you had to flag down the wait staff to get drinks and again to have them take your order .When they bought the food they also bought the bill and told you where to pay . Never checked to see how everything was Never offered another drink or dessert. Night 2 I went to make a reservation,the gentleman asked if I'd like a particular table I showed him the one that I wanted . 2 hours later we arrived for our reservation and the gentleman said oh sorry your table has gone ,again had to flag down the wait staff for drinks and food. When my pasta arrived it was Luke warm .I flagged the waitstaff and told him , he took it away and immediately bought it and said that they had made it fresh ,I said ok but it's cold . He took it away again and when he bought it back he bought the bill ,told us where to pay and never came back to check . My bolanaise was good the second time but my niece ordered the lasagna,it was a child's portion although tasty. I think lack of training is the problem. Why present the bill before checking that the customer has had all the drinks and food that they require - I would assume that the restaurant would want to make as much money per person as possible,-and definitely not before checking how everything is. We were not the only people to make mentioned of the lack of service . As I said at the start maybe they are all new..

We decided to stay 1 night in Fujiyoshida and this hotel is perfect. The bust stop is right in front of the lobby. Rooms

Pros: Great facilities, great breakfast buffet, friendly and professional staff

Pros: Excellent location with a great view

Cons: Unfortunately there were stains on the carpets and cupboards (multiple and obvious stains). Whilst the carpets were not dirty as such, the stains were blatant and not in keeping with the overall image given. Whilst the stains didnt directly affect our stay, it wasnt what we expected for what we paid. In fairness we didnt flag this with the hotel as we were only there two nights and as we really were only sleeping there, it was unfortunate but didnt affect our stay as such.

Pros: You can't have a location closest to the Mt Fuji. I had a mountain view incredible from my room. Just wow!

Cons: Maybe the dinner (4th floor) was overrated for the price.

Excellent hotel!

Pros: Nice and clean hotel with excellent Mt Fuji view and excellent staff! The free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko and other nearby stations was great!

Cons: Nil. Beware that weather at Fujisan area is unpredictable and apart from the very first day we arrived, our 4 days 3 nights at Fujisan area are mainly cloudy with snowing and rain.

Pros: The staff are so nice and kind. They cleaned the hotels public area all the time to make sure everything is nice for everyone. The breakfast was plentiful, I enjoyed the great selections. The onsen was delightful in the snow as well.

Best hotel during my trip to Tokyo!
