    Pros: Good location from train. Good hub to see other parts of the city
    Cons: Room temperature was too warm. Could not get thermostat to reduce temp. Had to sleep with windows open.

    Good value for money and...

    Pros: Really friendly and helpful reception staff, who made the trip a really positive experience. The decor was smart and seemed to have been recently decorated. The location was great, as there were lots of excellent restaurants nearby and a lot of things, including the Louvre and the Gare du Nord, within easy walking distance. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower, which was just over an hour and flat all the way. The bed was very comfortable. We were also given a room with a balcony, as a free upgrade, which was a nice touch. Overall a good stay and good value for money.
    Cons: We wouldn't do bed and breakfast if we came back here, as the breakfast was very disappointing and wasn't a full continental breakfast. We went out for breakfast on the second day, even though we had paid for it as part of the rate. We were also a little disappointed by the housekeeping, the room could have been a little cleaner and the shower seal was broken - and when we got back at 3, having been out since 10am, our room hadn't been cleaned, so we had to leave it for the day.

    Pros: The room I was upgraded to was very large and even had a sofa Location is very central and on a quiet street, felt very safe Friendly reception staff Decor is quite modern and colourful
    Cons: The desk is very small and just built into the wall so hard to do anything on a laptop Quite expensive but probably the norm for central Paris

    Pros: It was a good location with the metro close by and a reasonable walking distance from several places to visit in Paris. The staff were very accommodating with allowing us to store luggage early on arrival as well as late for departure.

    Pros: A real find! A small elegant boutique hotel in a quiet central location. Charming helpful staff at reception and in breakfast room. Excellent breakfast. Luxury toiletries (Ines de la Fressange). Excellent value for money. I hope to be back!

    Smell in restroom, otherwise solid

    Pros: Great location near lots of great food, decor was nicer than I had expected, and the staff were very helpful. The place was generally very solid. Housekeeping was also nice.
    Cons: There was a sewage smell in the restroom, possibly from some seal not being properly sealed in the pipes, coming up from both the shower and washbasin drains (3rd floor, forgot the room number). Without this, the facilities+cleanliness+comfort would be much better.
