Pros: It was a beautiful quiet place. We loved the courtyard and the rooms were excellent.

Cons: The pool was more like a giant hot tub. I would have preferred it to be much cooler like a pool should be. After being out in the sun I just wanted to get in the pool and cool off.

The hotel was nice and...

Pros: The pool was very warm, like a bath tub, but it also felt nice so I can't say I didn't enjoy it. Others were complaining about it though. Scharm was a great bartender who provided witty conversation and hilarious jokes. The room was nice, and the staff always seemed to be in a pleasant mood and were very kind. The entire hotel area always appeared very clean. The muffins left by the staff were a nice touch! Customer service was top notch.

Cons: Both my wife and I disliked the bed mattress. It was very firm and the springs would make a lot of loud noises. Even though the room was quiet we could hear other mattress spring noises coming from other rooms so we knew it wasn't just our bed. It was the mattress itself. Additionally, the pillows provided little to no support. Maybe give the option of a memory foam pillow or just get some cotton ones that support the head. The feather pillows are always a bad choice. The water pressure was horrible in both sinks and in the shower. It seemed to just fall out of the shower head. If it wasn't for these issues I would have given the hotel a top rating.
