really amazing place, but some of the staff ruined it for us

Pros: first we need to say that the place was absolutely incredible from a location and design standpoint. The breakfast included was super tasty and most of the staff were really nice.

Cons: so while the place was amazing, our room was a bit neglected and beat up looking. 2 of the lights in our room didn't work and the air conditioning vent was hanging down, looked about to fall down on us. paint scratches and scuff marks were really everywhere too. we thought, ok it's end of summer and probably tough to keep the room perfect.. but let's just report the light bulbs cause we couldn't see much at night. we reported it to one staff who was absolutely uninterested to help but said they'd let the handyman know. The next day we checked in and the other staff was a bit more friendly but noted that the handyman was probably just busy with other things. and so then on the 2nd night I checked the lights myself more carefully.. turns out one bulb had been unscrewed by guests so an easy fix. but the other main light bulb was broken. so the next day I just took the bulb to front desk during checkout. unfortunately I was stuck with the original staff member. they were completely dismissive and even combative. I couldn't believe the lengths they went to explain how it wasn't their job or their fault to replace. for me it was absolutely a minor thing.. I really just wanted to avoid stress to thee next customers. not only did they give non apologies and tell me I'm wrong but made it a point to loudly walk across the lobby to me while waiting to leave and make the point abundantly clear again their attitude was really next level rude and completely ruined our opinion of the hotel. this person clearly shouldn't be in the service industry. and I hope management takes notice.

Cons: AC bit noisy. Very inconvenient parking situation, though the hotel tried to do its best to help the clients.

Pros: Great hotel in the Porec Old Town! Friendly and helpful staff, extremely good breakfast offer, very good restaurant, great location, no problem with the parking (parking space outside of Old Town, but shuttle bus offer covers it and is really comfortable). 100% recommended!
