Perfect stay, hotel and staff...

Pros: The hotel was fantastic, very clean, excellent interior design, and had plenty of amenities. The rooftop bar being one of the best in Barcelona is a bonus. The best part for me, was the staff. Extremely attentive, but not over the top. Spoke multiple languages and treated each guest in a personal way, remembering names and room numbers, very impressive.

Cons: There is nothing I dislike about the hotel, but the traffic works directly outside at the time of my visit were not ideal, but nothing they can do about it.

Nice hotel and staff but not worth the money!

Pros: Delightful friendly staff, wonderful views from the roof terrace, very comfortable bed

Cons: Although some rooms have been opened work is still ongoing and it is quite noisy inside and outside the building .No bar or coffee area in the reception area where you come in and the only bar open is on the top floor. Disappointed with the room as there was no desk to work on and no side tables to put drinks on and the sofa/daybed was not comfortable to sit on. More shelves needed in the bathroom and more drawers for clothing would have been nice. We only booked this hotel as we stayed in the Principal Hotel in Madrid in December, and at the time the Central was owned by the same group but has now changed hands. Sadly this hotel in no way meets the same standard as the Madrid Hotel and although it may achieve a 5 star rating when the work is completed, it currently does not merit this rating or the prices being charged.

Pros: Staff was exceptional. Very helpful and also they provided an upgrade for Breakfast

Cons: Room has been not looked after well. It needs serious refurbishment. Furthermore, Breakfast (although it was kind of them to upgrade us) was not very good.
