    Pros: Generally the staff were very good. It was very close to many of the tourist attractions. Depending on what room you had depending on how much it was. The rooms on level 2 were tiny.
    Cons: The breakfast was very ordinary.

    Excellent staff, room maintenance is urgently needed

    Pros: The location is good! All the staff is fantastic! Special thanks to the kitchen and servers; they go above and beyond! They even prepared us lunch for our early flight since we wouldnt be able to have breakfast at the hotel.
    Cons: Sheets, curtains, and towels are ancient. We were able to spot holes in them. Towels weren't helpful to dry yourself after a shower. They need to give maintenance to the rooms; they have water leaks. We stayed with them twice. The first time, the WC leaked after each flush, and the second was the shower turn. All night, we heard the water dripping.

    Pros: The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The breakfast team headed by Seckin Kaya were extremely efficient, friendly and accommodating, they always had a smile on their face and clearly enjoyed helping the residents.
    Cons: The hotel is dated and needs attention albeit the lobby was fairly modern.

    Pros: Nice hotel at greta location at the city center. Everything is close from it, walking and the stations for public transport. The view from the restaurant on the top is breathing. The staff of the hotel are very kind, but above all the waiter at the restaurant, he is a real plus for this experience.
    Cons: We expected room to be a little bit spacious considering the photos when we were booking it.

    Made enjoyable by the friendly, helpful staff

    Pros: Location and all staff friendly and helpful. Some executive rooms on floor 5 good but others not so . The breakfast team led by Seckin were exceptional. The breakfast selection, food quality and quantity was very good. All must try Seckins personal touch to make you individual coffee at the end of breakfast. The views from the rooftop breakfast room are amazing.
    Cons: We and our friends paid for Executive room. Their room was quite large with large rainfall shower. They were very happy in room 508. However, 505 our double room , bed was small double bed to fit into the space. We removed bedside table so good access the wardrobe. Also to bend down to use safe at bottom of wardrobe. Wardrobe was so narrow that the clothes had to hang diagonally to be able to close door.. The bathroom was small with a shower that had old fashioned shower that would normally be seen in Victorian roll top style bath . Flow was just a trickle. Took 20th d just to get water mix of hot & cold correct. The room was cleaned well every day. Reception staff helpful and as traffic always busy in Istanbul, on departure the porter helped with bags to take to end of the road to meet shuttle bus to save time.

    Pros: Excellent location. Close to the waterfront, mosques and other tourist attractions. Also close to restaurants and cafes. The breakfast staff was very warm and friendly and helpful.
    Cons: Room was very, very small and tight. This was not clear in the booking information. The Golden Horn is an older hotel that has not been brought up to either code or modern conveniences.
