Incredible views, some of the best you can get in the Rockies.

Pros: The view was incredible. We paid for a room with a view on the Glacier and we were not disappointed one bit. It is breathtaking on every level and it is a one of a kind hotel. The restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious. The hotel also gives Glacier Tours to hotel guests which are a much better option than booking through the normal thing as we did get to the Glacier first, were only a group of a dozen people and really got to enjoy the experience. About 5 minutes before leaving the glacier, 3 buses full of tourists came and we deemed ourselves lucky to have been able to come up before anyone else.

Cons: The shower kept going from lukewarm water to 'boiling in hell' water and I ended up getting burned a couple of times. Not sure wether that is something happening often or not but both my husband and I had to go through this (though I have not read any comments on that I think).

Clean and comfortable rooms with breathtaking views of the glacier right outside your window.

Felt we paid over the odds for an average hotel because its in an amazing location.

Pros: The main draw for this hotel is the wonderful location at the glacier. The room was large and bed was comfortable.

Cons: The room was cold and not adjustable (which I see many others have fed back already so a shame it hasnt been fixed), hotel was showing wear and tear - dirty corridors, and the water pressure was terrible.

Pros: location is perfect, just on the third floor of Columbia Icefield Center; they also provide a private guided experience for the guests to enjoy both skywalk and glacier view.

Cons: breakfast is not buffet, so the variety is limited.

Unique and unforgettable experience

Pros: Great overnight experience. Nice room. Access to a private Glacier sky walk tour at 6.30pm. Great dinner at 8pm (with very friendly service and affordable but top notch food). Great breakfast at 8am. Access to glacier visit at 9.30am. Back on the road by 11.30am feeling very happy and contented.

Pros: location was great (2/3 of the way from banff to jasper is a nice stop point), amenities were great (restaurants, gift shop), included tours were value for money & superbly private (unlike other public tour timings), parking was on-site and plentiful

Cons: check in & out were both very slow, room was also extremely cold (centralised heating, would not recommend doing it that way), door heavy but seems to have backfired since we could hear others' doors slam (as well as when they walked and talked in the corridor)
