Overall is ok to stay.

Pros: The room not very clean and we see sometime some black dot landed on the bedsheets not sure what is it. The towels and bed sheets are old and suggest change to new sets. Pillows are not good for sleeping. Outroom the room was very noisy.

Cons: Room was not so brightly lit, bathroom was quite dark. sink was choked and resulted in slow waste water discharge, requested to clear the choke twice in 2 days but still not done after checked out end of the fifth night stay. little far from main street Maibolo. Mattress with surface caved in ( long used by many guests before ) room could be more sound proof, waking up by the prayer every morning.

Pros: The Facts : This was my second stay in the hotel, the first one being in 2015. The hotel, being relatively new then, had left a very good impression and I had provided a very high review. However, this time around, it did not live up to the same expectations. Perhaps the pandemic, which has left several businesses closed down has taken a toll on this hotel also. It has become a basic hotel now with service standards depleted 1. It's a decent hotel for the price one pays. That being said, Yogyakarta is the second cheapest tourist destination in Asia 2. Location - it's in Jln Prawirotaman No. 2. There are many nearby eateries 3. Travel Desk - We booked our taxi to Borobudur from the hotel desk - 600KIDR for 6 hours. One can get a better deal with the private vehicle operators (there are a lot available) 4. A nearby mosque will wake you up early with the morning prayers. But this being Indonesia, one should be prepared for it and though it woke me up, the prayer sounded very calming 5. They can accommodate an extra adult in the room (extra bed and breakfast) for 25KIDR per night The Good 1. Breakfast - They maintain a very good spread - Asian and continental. One can eat to heart's content 2. Room - Decent room for the price. Large toilet with a separate shower area

Cons: 1. I had requested an early check in which had been acknowledged by the hotel. However, the room was not ready and it took a while 2. While waiting for the room, decided to have lunch in their restaurant which was kind of a let down. We had ordered a simple lunch of rice, Chicken chap cai and gado gado. The chap chai was absolutely bland (surprising for an indonesian cuisine) and did not come with any chilli / condiment. Further, the gado gado was brought when we had almost finished our meal. Restaurant was hot and they turned on the HVAC only after a few reminders. I would not recommend a meal in this restaurant apart from teh breakfast - which was perhaps the only highlight 3. Cleanliness - could be improved

Pros: Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was a great variety of food. Eggs and noodle soup were made to order. Its within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Theres inexpensive laundry drop-off across the street. Staff was wonderful. They helped arrange a transfer to the YIA airport.

Cons: The sound of various mosques blaring songs over their loud speakers several times a day, all around the same time. Bring ear-buds if you want to sleep in. I know the hotel cant control this.

Pros: Staff was really kind. Great breakfast, we tried the Indonesian breakfast but they also provide the continental one.

Cons: AC machine was a bit noisy, but we were so tired we actually didnt hear it during the night.
