Four Points by Sheraton is an upscale hotel brand under the management of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a unit of Marriott International. The hotel chain’s latest opening is in Tanzania with Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam, New Africa Hotel. The 174-room hotel opened on June 10, 2019, is the second property of the hotel in the country which was initially the official residence of the last German officer and King of Prussia Kaiser Wilhelm II during the World War I. 

Four Points by Sheraton Sacramento International Airport, meanwhile just recently underwent a full-scale renovation. The 14,000 square feet property is a significant business event and meeting place in Sacramento, California.

The hotel was first introduced in April 1995 by its original owner Sheraton Hotel and Resorts as ‘Four Points by Sheraton Hotels’ to identify it from other hotels of a similar name like Sheraton Inns. It was relaunched as ‘Four Points by Sheraton’ in 1998 after Starwood bought ITT Sheraton and outbid Hilton.
