Four Points by Sheraton is an upscale hotel brand under the management of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a unit of Marriott International. The hotel which targets business and leisure travelers mainly operates over 300 hotels in more than 40 locations across six continents, namely, North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. They are often found near the beach, by the airport and big urban centers.

The hotel chain’s latest opening is in Tanzania with Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam, New Africa Hotel. The 174-room hotel opened on June 10, 2019, is the second property of the hotel in the country which was initially the official residence of the last German officer and King of Prussia Kaiser Wilhelm II during the World War I.

Good if you need to stay central in Cancun

Pros: It was OK. We always return to the hotel when we know we need to stay in that location. It is not amazing, it is rather pricey, but the location and the rooms are as expected.

Cons: This time around the restaurant was worse than previous times... I was not satisfied with the restaurant to the point that we avoided eating there altogether. The staff were OK.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and always friendly. There are a lot of seating areas in the lobby. The breakfast buffet had many choices and the breakfast menu was also available. Our room was very comfortable, the facilities we used - pool, gym - were good.

Cons: Location, it is downtown but far from the areas what a tourist looking for. Maybe a perfect hotel for crew stuff but not for a tourist. Very good spacious and comfortable rooms, a very good hotel that I will be happy staying in again.

Pros: The room was nice and very spacious as well as the shower and bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to store stuff and open the luggage. The staff was nice and friendly everywhere. The roof-top has a nice view as well and the pool is nice and relatively big. The parking was easy and comfortable to use as well as not crazy with the prices. The breakfast was good and some of the items vary from a day to an other, it is nice to have other options.

Cons: The pillows were not to my liking, it looks like Latin America has different habits with pillows. The roof top pool is very nice but there should be more umbrellas for more shade during the sunny moments. Things were clean in general and that was enough for us but never impeccable. It is preferable to have a car as it is a little far from main things in the center. Even with all these small details we really enjoyed our stay and would book there again with great pleasure.

Felt like a home away from home

Pros: The people here were wonderful! It was the perfect location for us. Both restaurants are really good. The pool is peaceful and there is a nice view from the gym. Our room was spacious and comfortable and housekeeping always did a great job. My little poodle and I will be back again soon. Thanks eveveryone!
