Nice quiet hotel in the heart of Bangkok

Pros: Very nice hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Quiet and very well located. Breakfast was very nice. Morning yoga on the rooftop is just a must-visit. Daily cleaning amazing, all the linen are snow-white! Pool was a nice refreshing after a city-walk.

Cons: All the rooms face the inner garden, so its a bit noisy when children play in pool. Internet connection is unstable, we had to sit by the pool to check-in and so.

Pros: Good location - only a 10 min walk to Wat Pho and Golden Palace. Staff were lovely and helpful. Overall not a high end hotel, but clean with comfy beds and cotton sheets. Food at the cafe was lovely and good value for money but be aware there is no bar, just a poolside fridge to buy beers and soft drinks from, so no wine or other spirits with your meals.

Cons: Unable to buy alcohol other than beer on site. Not much choice of restaurants in immediate area. Is a nice daytime coffee shop next door

Don't come here if you want peace and quiet.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: We stayed for 6 nights and it was like staying at a school. Children everywhere screaming and running about everyday. Constant splashes of children jumping in the pool all through the evening aswell. With the building surrounding the pool, we were on the 3rd floor and it was still extremely loud. Don't come here if you want peace & quiet.

Met my expectation

Pros: Very spacious room. Nice swimming pool. Walkable distance from train station. Can walk to the Palace. They also hand you a map during check in which includes restaurants and tourist spots which I found very useful.

Cons: The swimming pool was mostly in the shadow since it was surrounded by the hotel building. So, the water felt quite cold in the morning and in the afternoon. I could only swim during the day. The restaurant downstairs was quite expensive.
