A great place to stay…we...

Pros: Everything. it was recommended by a friend as we were staying in LA 2 nights. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, as well as professional. I think we had a junior suite, which was charmingly furnished with everything we needed. we enjoyed the security of the valet parking. Also close to shopping area.

Cons: nithing I can think of.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable and in a great location

Cons: The vanity basin and taps were not in the bathroom. They were in the entry way of the room, not ideal, no privacy.

Unbearably noisy from staff, cleaning...

Pros: Good location.

Cons: Cleaning staff were so noisy early in the morning. I had a room right across from elevator and the concrete floors meant any trolley going over them made so much noise.

Pros: Excellent location right next to the Farmers Markets, The Grove, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and CVS. Everything you need within walking distance. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had so many perfect little details.

Cons: Hotel staff felt a little unwelcoming, however the restaurant staff made up for it. Can be a little noisy from the traffic out the front but this quiets down when you go to sleep anyway.

Ok place to stay if...

Pros: Would be a good place to stay if you're in town for one or two nights. Location is great, as you're across the road from The Grove, Farmers Market etc. Friendly staff. Rooms good size, comfy bed.

Cons: Sadly, I have quite a few negatives.. I highly stress, this place is loud and not sound proof whatsoever. If you are a light sleeper then you will need ear plugs. Staff start work early, the music can go on from 7am downstairs (sometimes it was left on until the early AM too), and corridors are very loud/echo. Many times I was woken up from people slamming doors on my floor and floors below. Also there was a few very loud events in the courtyard, one of which had the music SO loud one evening I could practically have a rave in my own room from it. Not ideal when the rooms aren't sound proof. Many trivial things seemed to add up too.. TV did not work, hairdryer only blew cold air, dirty napkins in the restaurant, no toilet roll brought to room when needed (an extra roll would be good to be kept in the room), old air con was so loud it shook the room, wasn’t aware they no longer serve breakfast and the restaurant is only open on an evening (my bad), some communal areas feel tired, bar staff were pretty slow (e.g took 40 minutes to get the cheque), power cut on another evening etc. A few unfortunate things but also many things that can be improved on. So all in all it wasn’t the experience I expected but I think the main thing for me was the loudness of the place and my lack of sleep. It’s a shame as I was really looking forward to staying here.

Cons: Noise in hallway, small room, no table in room, food not good, pool is super tiny, but still a nice hotel and I do recommend.

Pros: There was no breakfast or lunch at the hotel restaurant. And a very limited menu when it was open ( between 4pm and 11pm)

Cons: We would have liked to eat breakfast at the hotel, as well as at least one dinner, but that was not possible.

Pros: Great location, lots of restaurants and stores around, The Grove walking distance, room was comfortable, stylish and clean. Good restaurant for dinner and drinks, valet is quite expensive but useful.

Cons: AC/heating of the room is old, it didn't work properly. Since the hotel is close to a big avenue, we can hear some noise.
