About Fairfield Inn By Marriott Brand Hotels

Owned by Marriott Group of Companies, Fairfield Inn started as a quaint hotel located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Owned and developed by John Willard and Alice Marriott, the first Fairfield Inn hotel used to be Fairfield Farm and offered a stunning eye-candy in the region. Inspired by this beauty, Marriott created and built its first ever Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Originally intended to provide accommodation services for the economy market or below $45 a night and to compete with other leading hotel brands such as Hampton Inn, Red Roof Inn and Days Inn, Marriott launches Fairfield Inn. The brand success triggered a global expansion in 2003 with the brand targeting guests and clients from around the world. By 2017, during the 30th year anniversary of the brand, Marriott opened 900 hotels and expansions in their earlier branches in Asia and South America.

In 2019, Fairfield Inn reached another milestone and opened its 1000th hotel - Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Denver Tech Center North. To commemorate the milestone, guests in the newly opened hotel gets the chance to win a 5-day stay in any Fairfield Inn hotel in the world, with free brownies at check-in, just like how Alice Marriott greeted hotel guests back in the day.

My family would stay again...

Pros: The breakfast was delicious. Ms. Pat takes pride in ensuring the guests are happy and that everyone is fed. The rooms were clean. The front desk staff was very accommodating. We would stay again.

Cons: The room was not cleaned during our stay but I assume had I asked for the room to be cleaned they would have done so. In the past they did it but I guess since COVID hotel cleaning policies have changed once your in the room.

Very disappointed in the way...

Pros: I have stayed in Marriott establishments before this is the worst one I’ve ever stayed in because the hotel needs and complete upgrade. It does not meet Marriott expectations or mine. I’m a loyal customer to Marriott and Fairfield Inn franchise, but this place really needs an upgrade. I feel like I should be credited by Marriott for staying there but I had business in the area in the location was great. The staff was wonderful the hotel needs to be done over. Thank you.

Cons: The hotel needs a complete remodel. The staff is great and doing the best they can with what they have but that Marriott Fairfield Inn needs to be completely remodeled. Is it disappointment to the Marriott corporation and I’ve stayed in Marriott and I’ll continue to stay in Marriott, but that one I won’t stay in that one again. As I said the staff is excellent and they doing the best they can, but what they have to work with which is not a lot because it needs to be upgraded.

Cons: I slept on the pull-out sofa. It was so old that you can feel the coils in the mattress just by lightly touching it. I had to put the blanket, folded in half on the mattress to help cushion it! The room and bathroom are so dated and really need a facelift!Stay for the convenience, not for

Pros: The initial greeting was nice until the manager stepped in to assist the new clerk. She was rude. The location was close by for my companies holiday party so that’s convenient.

Cons: The fact that online says pet friendly and no mention of pet fees when booking. Get there and it’s no “hello” it’s “are you aware you’ll be charged an extra $75 for your animal?” I have no issue paying but then you guys call me and text me saying my dog barks. Yeah he’s a 100lb dog. He’s going to be loud in a new spot. Won’t be coming here again considering you threatened me to leave if he doesn’t stop. I guarantee the staff was knocking on the door and getting him anxious, so next time you guys charge someone $200 for one night maybe don’t put them right at the elevator and ice machine.
