Owned by Marriott Group of Companies, Fairfield Inn started as a quaint hotel located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Owned and developed by John Willard and Alice Marriott, the first Fairfield Inn hotel used to be Fairfield Farm and offered a stunning eye-candy in the region. Pros: Yhe only good thing about this hotel was the proximity to the venue we needed to ne near

Cons: Everything. The room was disgusting. We paid almost --- for a moldy musty dirty broken outdated room. Lamp shades busted, light bulbs burned out, the smell of mold made it impossible to breath. We checked out and found new hotel after an hour. Do not stay

Very disappointing to discover we had been overcharged $52.64 more for the second night.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. We like the coffee between meals.

Cons: We stayed the first night in room 302 on 5/25/23. The carpet was dirty and needed vacuuming. The air conditioner was extremely loud, and made sleeping problematic. The shower/tub/bathroom didn't have any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Someone had tried to force the room window open, and the track was broken. There were no towels in the pool hot tub area. The second night we stayed in room 101 on 5/27/23. The sink was broken/cracked in the bathroom. We were charged $133.28 for the first night, and $185.92 for the second night. We were told that the room rate was the same when we booked the rooms. Why were we charged $52.64 more for the second night. Had we known that we would have stayed elsewhere. Deceptive business practices for sure. Will be the last time we stay there.

Pros: The pool/hot tub was a fantastic time for my family we had a lot of fun! The rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very nice!

Cons: The beds weren't super comfortable, but it was a good time still!

it was a nice hotel not that good of staff !

Pros: I liked the bed and the decorations and the breakfast the hotel isnt that bad !

Cons: I didnt like that the room .. we have already picked in the booking app wasnt the same one we got ! we ended up in a smaller room without a notice when I came at 2 pm they said the house maid wasn lt ready and they didnt have any rooms available ! oh AND the charged my card TWICE it was supposed to be a good relaxed day and the workers over all ruined it !

very adequate all things considered. the breakfast was great.

Pros: it was on our route and was located right next to the Cracker Barrel. it also had outside plugs so that I could charge my car. Tesla destination chargers would have been nice.

Pros: location is the only thing this property has going for it

Cons: room was not cleaned as it should have been, door to room didnt shut securely without force, staff was not approachable and has poor customer service skills

Cons: Price is too high for the "run down" place.! There was rust & peeling in the bathroom. Pool is in bad shape! Hot tub didnt work. Curtain was half way falling off the window. Place is definitely not worth over $100 a night .

Pros: It was quiet and conveniently located near many shopping centers. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A laundry facility was onsite.

Cons: I wished a microwave would have been in the room.
