Pros: The location is fantastic, especially as it is attached to a picture postcard beach (the photographs dont do it justice!) There are also two large pools and a restaurant. Breakfast was also very good.

Cons: Air conditioning worked, but was ineffective.

Pros: wonderful and beautiful place. so well decorate. nice pools, rooms, garden tnd charming enviorment. the beach doen there is amazing - even the sea was stormy. very nice and polite staff.

Pros: Large grounds, nice beach.

Cons: Dogs were allowed on the grounds and pester you at the dinning tables, which is not professional. They could do more planting to make it prettier, so much more potential. Bar was dull, empty bottles on display. Food was not great. Pool side could be tidied up to be more inviting.

Pros: Not my first time in Eva Lanka and definitely not the last. It's a perfect place to relax: quiet location, fantastic staff and spa offer, beautiful garden, amazing ocean view from the room and almost private little beach just few steps from the hotel.

Pros: Beautiful hotel by the ocean. We were welcomed at the reception with juice and cool towels. Lovely big, well maintained grounds with 2 salt water swimming pools. Spa treatments and good restaurant on site. Very relaxing.

Pros: Having a paradise called Ranlakshmi beach few meter from the room was definitely priceless. I have no words to describe the beuty of the beach and the tropical nature. Moreover, as Sri Lanka is known for surfing I loved the chance to surf in the beach close to the hotel, Unakuruwa. It has great waves for beginners. Then, having the opportunity to balance the ocean with the 2 large swimming of the hotel was simply perfect. The owners and the staff were always ready to provide the best service and help us to organise every excursion eg. Yale, Mirissa, Rock Temple etc... The rooms were structured in bungalows and were surrounded by tree palms and beutyfull peacocks. This creates a magical vibes that make us have a beutyfull memory of our vacation

Cons: It would be great having a good wifi coverage across all the hotel for the "unlucky ones" ie. the ones who still have work-related meetings to attend The food is good but give the status of the hotel we think that there might be margin of improvements

True pradise location.

Pros: Truely a paradise location and beautifull beach. Staff is very friendly and the area itself has the facilities needed for a family.

Cons: The food is a bit pricy compared to the Sri Lanka standards.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful location

Pros: Amazing hotel in a beautiful location. The pools were lovely, the beach was fantastic, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful family trip, would definitely go back.

Cons: The economic situation in Sri Lanka is clearly very difficult for everyone. All the staff went out of their way to make sure that we weren't inconvenienced in any way.

Pros: The resort itself is one beautiful and calm place with stunning views of the ocean. It looks like a huge botanical garden with a lot of animals. The room was spacious and comfortable and we slept like babies. There are two swimming pools and two beaches with direct access from the resort. However, these beaches are not very well suited for swimming, they look like heaven, with no people, many coconut trees, and the tiny local bar serving drinks and food all day long.

Pros: This hotel is absolutely fabulous!! We enjoyed the swimming pools and the lovely beach just by the hotel. Our bangalow was spacious and clean, surrounded by lots of palm trees. I really liked all the wild animals passing by: peacocks, parrots, monkeys etc.

Cons: Hotel restaurant offers mainly international / western meals so if you want to try a bigger variety of local foods then you need to go out.

Pros: Big rooms with simple colours. Nice swimming pools. Quite close to the most beautiful beach of Sri Lanka - Silent Beach.

Cons: The hotel is very outdated and need to be renovated. Furniture, plastering, sidewalks - it all looks like would be 40 years old. The hotel is out of Tangalle - you will need to take a tuk-tuk every time going to the city. The price - almost 80$/night is for sure 2 times too much - for this rate you may have 4 stars, modern hotel - Eva Lanka was worth it maybe 30 years ago. Breakfasts with very little variety, totally not as you would expect from this kind of hotel. A/C worked very weak.
