Pros: My husband and I always try to stay here for our Red Wings games because we love the morning staff. The chefs, breakfast area clean-up, and front desk staff are amazing and friendly.

Cons: There is never trash bags in the trash cans.

Multiple errors hampered out stay,...

Pros: The location was exactly where we wanted to be, easy to find right off of the highway. The breakfast was decent and the room was (mostly) pleasant.

Cons: I usually really enjoy staying at Embassy Suites. Check in took a long time with only four parties ahead of me in line, and the staff did not seem to be in any hurry. Once I was given keys, it turned out the room we were given was occupied. We opened the door to see all of their personal items unpacked. Luckily they were not there, which would have been very uncomfortable - but it did not give me a great feeling to know this can happen. We then had to haul our kids back down with all of our bags to get another room. I got a quick apology and new keys to a different room, but overall they did not seem concerned that this happened. We discovered at 10pm when trying to get our kids to bed that the sofa bed did not have any bedding on it other than a mattress pad - which had a suspicious red stain on it. There was no extra bedding at all in the room. I called down to request more, and 15 minutes later my wife called to check. She was told, "you're not the only people we need to get to, we'll be there soon." 25 minutes total to get any bedding from housekeeping, but the kids were not about to sleep on that mattress after seeing that stain on the pad. We covered the couch in sheets and blankets, but it was a very uncomfortable night sleep for all of us. They did offer to let us move rooms, by that time we were exhausted and not about to pack up and move to a different floor. Also the website with access to all the details on the hotel is not complete. I tried to find where ice machines were, and what time food was served. There were no details filled in (you need to scan a QR code, no booklets about hotel details). For example, the website said, "Ice machines are located [insert location here]." "Room service is served until [insert time here]". Overall the staff was helpful via text (which is where I was offered a new room), but the front desk staff was not very friendly.

Cons: The breakfast table had 3 empty spots where food should have been there wasn’t a lot of fruit to choose from and breads where limit. I wasn’t terrible but the last embassy suites I stay at had a much better selection.
