Pros: The room was very good. Breakfast was what is now standard but very adequate for present day hotels. Location is good, just a shuttle/cab away but far enough to filter out jet noise and right at the mall for those who want ‘a taste of Maine’.

Cons: We lost power while we were there. They refused to give us extra blankets saying all blankets were in the wash. It was freezing. We asked to extend our stay because at home we lost power and couldn’t get to our house. They didn’t care. They were “holding” rooms for out of state electrical workers. They kicked us out. It was very upsetting.

Pros: Accommodations were very clean. Front desk staff very friendly, helpful and professional. I checked out before breakfast but the coffee was very good. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to co-workers.

Pros: Convenient location to Maine Mall, restaurants and other shops. The bed was comfortable and the girl at check in was nice.

Cons: The toilet seat and cover were up when I arrived in my room which made me uncomfortable as usually they are both down after being cleaned.

Cons: There was an ice storm and we lost power from Saturday night and never got it back before we checked out on Sunday. It was chilly but they mentioned a refund through booking.

Cons: Upon entry to our room we discovered crumbs and dust and pieces of either the wall or other debris in all corners, under the desk, etc. Shower had mildew stains and what looks to be residue from previous guests shower products. We were too tired from our drive to inspect further, as the beds were made up well. On our second night, when moving the pillows of one bed my child noticed white, dried/cracked schmutz on the headboard hid neatly behind the back pillow. Meaning, if the person making the bed had eyes they should have washed and sanitized the headboard! (barf!!!!!!!!) THEN! The power went out and there is NO backup generator on site. When approaching the front desk I was met with laughter and snark and told management was unreachable and did not know if they have backup power. This is Maine. Backup power shouldn't even be a question when your hotel is full. **UPDATE** HOTEL CHARGED FOR STAY ON SECOND NIGHT AND IS AVOIDING REFUNDING. MULTIPLE CALLS TO LOCATION AFTER THE FACT HAVE GONE UNRETURNED BY MANAGEMENT. FRONT DESK GIRL IS UNSYMPATHETIC AND RUDE. When checking out and voicing displeasure with the whole situation, I find it rather unnecessary to have several males stand up and walk toward the front desk. Not okay to intimidate your guests out of their hard earned money for a stay they couldn't even enjoy. Awful hotel that should not be open for business.
