Pros: Booked hotel because of roof top bar with amazing views of the Galata Tower. Was told on arrival that the roof top bar and that part of hotel was being renovated. Would not have booked the hotel otherwise so feel hotel are advertising their facilities fraudulently. They need to be revised on all websites asap. There are other hotels with roof top views of the Galata Tower I would have booked if the hotel had been truthful that their roof top bar was closed. So maybe/definitely this is why the websites have not been updated to reflect current facilities. Room ok but not great needs more attention. Room design with washbasin in bedroom separate from toilet and shower very odd. You have to come out of the toilet to the bedroom to wash your hands. No privacy in brushing your teeth as wash basin is in bedroom! Not a romantic look in front of my partner! There is a frosted glass door to the en-suite in the room. The en suite is basically a walled box in the room. The glass goor cannot be opened inwards as it bangs straight into the toilet!!!! The door needs to be opened out into the bedroom. This is a problem when the small wardrobe door is open as it is next to the glass door opening axis. This does NOT work. The guest needs to make sure the wardrobe door is closed before you come out of the en suite or the risk is the glass door could be damaged/ shattered. So if your room partner had the wardrobe door open while you shower and you then come out the two doors will collide. You could revert to a fog horn warning to your partner, Im coming out! so they can coordinate closing the wardrobe door. This is just bad design not thought through but done I suspect to squeeze an en-suite room into the top of the hotel. I think a comment back from hotel after this review will be there have been no other complaints. Well there should be! This is not a cheap room at all and due to the design it is a stressful experience to stay in.

Perfect location to visit istanbul

Pros: Perfect position, just a minute walk from Galata tower. Also 1 minute walk to tunel station where you can get to karakoy with tunel, or taskim square with tramway. It's in the street where a lot of the movida takes place, with lots of shops and restaurants; from our room we could hear some noise at night, but in the morning everything was quiet. If you're a light sleeper I'd recommend some earplugs. The staff was very kind and the cleanliness was impeccable. To get there from karakoy I recommend the tunel as I said, because it's a very steep climb with bags and luggages. Overall I absolutely recommend it

Pros: The location is perfect. The neighbourhood seemed safe and nice. You have an easy access to the main attractions in Istanbul. You have shampoo , shower gel and hair dryer in the room.

Cons: It was very noisy. Keep in mind that the next building is a mosque and there were loud prayers early in the morning. Some of the amenities didn't work- the fridge, the hand shower, the windows were not closing properly. One of the lamps was doing annoying noises.

Pros: Great location and very good value for money. Friendly staff and accommodated a very late check in.

Cons: The shower water runs out of the shower to the toilet floor. Could be easily fixed with a lip fixed to the floor rather than having to roll up the bathmat or hand towel to keep the water in the shower.

Pros: Everything else was great - the staff, the location and the room itself.

Cons: As we came to our room and I went into the bathroom to take as shower, as soon as I started to run the water, the shower head fell off. It wasn't nothing serious as there was the overhead shower head as well and we could take shower anyway. I communicated the situation with the staff and they said they are going to fix it.

Superb

Pros: Location is perfect if someone wants to stay around walk in distance to Galata Tower, Istiklal Street and Taqsim Square, plus two metro stations, karakoy and Sishane at 5 minutes walk. Reception is available 24 hrs. The host Borah and Ahmed are very friendly and helpful if you need and guidance or assistance. Downside of the location, bcz it is main tourist spot, everything around is 4x expensive, specially the food, restaurants around are very poor and they charge hell lot of money.

Cons: Washroom is very small and door is not sealed so the smell from washroom can easily pass through the room, which makes it unpleasant, bugs from the washroom, and washbasin in the room is very akward and inconvenient.

Cons: Its a bit run down, in very noicy very busy place. I think one night here be more than enough. See whats around and change, hard to sleep as noice levels are hectic and streets Pump with drunks tourists till early hours of the morning.
