Pros: Location is near the airport. Price was cheap, yet although the price is similar to Travelodge, the quality is much worse.

Cons: The receptionist couldn't have been any more disinterested or unhelpful upon my arrival; he merely told me my room number, becoming irritated when I asked for more precise information. My room was at the end of two shabby corridors, and I could hear quite loud music and conversations coming from a few of the rooms; this is because the hotel also serves as a hostel for the homeless. The room itself was dingy, and whilst not exactly dirty, the carpet was grubby and the fixtures worn. The towels were ridiculously small and the pillows were uncomfortable. There was a USB charging point that didn't work. In the morning I went into the restaurant, decorated as if it were a primary school, with gaudy, badly-drawn murals, and enquired about breakfast. The lady in charge hardly spoke any English, but furthermore came across as extremely unhelpful and unwilling to be of assistance. I left without eating, which was just as well as the sausages were burned, and decided that if I am ever again forced into taking a late night return flight to Stansted, to pay more for a better hotel.

Cons: When we stayed builder work was being done. Being located away from that would have been better. No bin in the room or sower gel or conditioner etc which would improve the facilities.

Cons: It's nice that the windows are sound proof, but with the ventilation in the bathroom never shutting off, the sound-proof windows are not very helpful. It was hard to sleep with all the noise from the bathroom. Also, the lights in the room only partially worked. Particularly by the bed one didn't work at all and the other was very dim.
