Pros: The desk staff were really good. Welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. A joy. The bed itself was very comfortable. The Pool and garden area were very pleasant.

Cons: OMG! We had a 'King' room. It was slightly bigger than a cupboard. But WAIT FOR IT... The room was so small that the (small, 'one-person') wardrobe was in the TOILET/Bathroom!!! Even the toilet had a sliding door that didn't close properly. This was not at all what we expected. We were fortunate to get a balcony but it was barely bigger than a window ledge! There was almost no drawer space so we could not unpack more than basics. Certainly inadequate for more than one person for one night. There wasn't even space to open suitcases! There was no drain in the bathroom floor (!!!) so when the shower overflowed (from a drain in the shower itself, found to be blocked with previous guests' hair) it flooded the whole toilet/bathroom floor that could only be soaked up with lots of bath towels. The booking was one that 'included breakfast'. We know the kind of 'American breakfasts' they serve over there. But not this Marriott. For example: You could have EITHER an orange juice OR a coffee (smallest size only!). Not both!!! You could have EITHER (a) a sandwich, burrito or (almost cold) porridge OR (b) Yogurt, fruit cup, a bagel, croissant or Muffin (Choose two) Paper cups and plastic spoons. The Included Breakfast was an insult, and nothing LIKE American hotel chains traditionally offer. Insubstantial and cheap. Saying it 'included breakfast' in this hotel was misleading. Marriott give no points unless booked directly with them. But after this, that will not be an issue. Never again.

Beware of house keeping here,...

Cons: We forgot in the fridge some fine unopened cured hams and cheeses from Spain that we had brought for presents at check out. Came back less than 4 hours later as we were still in the city for some days and even though the room was not rented for that day nor the room was fully made the food had been taken by someone from housekeeping it seems. The hotel said nothing was in the fridge and it was it, did not even offer to pay for those items. Supposedly their policy on perishables is to keep them for 24 hours and then discard them. Somebody took our items home way ahead. They don’t even call or write an email to customers to let them know they forgot things. Imagine the same thing happens if you leave valuable objects, never see them again. Very upsetting.

Pros: The location was good for shopping and close to Sunny Isles beach by Uber.

Cons: Very plain hotel. Strong smell of Damp in the Room and bland interiors. Seemed to be alot of young people hanging around outside.

I would totally stay at...

Pros: We stayed at the hotel during the Miami Art Fair and stayed din the Hotel for a whole week, and felt at home. The staff were extremely friendly and always welcomed guests with a smile.

Cons: There are two Elevators, but only one was operational during our stay.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating-we checked in 4 hr before regular check in! Room was very clean
