Pros: Big room and clean

Cons: Extremely bad breakfast made with the cheapest possible ingredients. Sausages were filler with fat. Scrambled eggs were manufactured from powder.

Pros: The breakfast and happy hour was nice.

Cons: The hotel was under renovation, which was ok. The problem was that our slider lock was broken. I reported it and no one never came up to repair it. There was scaffolding outside our balcony. Someone could have climbed up and easily entered the room.

Cons: The exterior was being worked on and covered in plastic so it made it difficult to see the beach.

Pros: The room was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. There was not a lot of outside noise to disturb us at night even though the motel was right next to the freeway. There were enough towels provided and the coffee selection was small but decent. The front desk staff responded quickly to our needs and were very friendly and professional. The room had enough plugs for charging phones and iPads. The housekeeping staff was great and our room got cleaned and restocked without us having to ask.

Cons: When we arrived, we thought the motel was closed as the motel exterior was completely scaffolded. Booking.com did NOT warn us about the exterior construction. Booking.com should be responsible for ANY construction and renovation warnings on its website. I am displeased with Booking.com and will probably not use your site again to locate travel accommodation in the future. The coffee maker in our room was FILTHY and the room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke when we first got there. That smell seemed to fade fairly quickly though. The free breakfast was not all that great an offering. The hot selections were minimal and the eggs were obviously powdered, there was a small selection of fresh fruit. The eating area was sparsely decorated and much too loud with a big screen TV blaring during breakfast. There was a hotel staff member ’serving’ the hot food but he looked more like a housekeeping staff member than a meal staffer. There were no soda or fresh juice offerings, only canned juice and coffee and tea. It was disappointing overall. There is also no real lobby area in which to sit and relax, only a couple of oversized chairs and some barstool chairs against a high counter.

Pros: Breakfast was simple but worked, and it was nice to get something aside from just the room. WIFI was strong, the place is clean throughout. The staff was friendly I would definitely stay again. Parking is also a breeze.

Cons: Only thing that is kind of not fun is if you are on the first floor you hear everyone coming in and out of the garage. The walls aren't the thickest but all in all if the place isn't busy it isn't a big problem

Pros: How close it was to downtown Ventura. The breakfast was decent and evening snack a plus.

Cons: Low rating for confort due to, the air conditioning, even at the lowest setting, didn't cool the room; especially the bathroom making it miserable to get ready in the morning. It didn't push out enough air. All though the room felt clean enough, whatever cleaner they used is way, WAY too strong and made me nauseous. First thing I had to do was air out the room. However, due to the major renovating going on, and the plastic covering over all the windows, poor air conditioning unit, it took forever for the smell to go away. By the way, they are in the last phase of some major renovations, be warned. Would have been nice to know before hand. We were told last phase, but I hope they still plan on replacing the old chair and ottoman that is worn and fraying. There is road noise and a train, but once both windows are closed, it's not bad at all. However, we opened the windows a lot in an attempt to cool the room down, despite the plastic covering the windows..we tried.

Cons: Construction was a bit inconvenient but not terrible. No construction on the weekend. They did say it started at 9 on weekdays, but the crew started around 8. Front of the hotel is a better location to stay away from highway noise.

Cons: TOTAL HOTEL UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION WITH SCAFOLDING BY ALMOST EVERY WINDOW. Hotel also adjacent to major freeway and noisy. .

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Cons: My room faced the freeway and we could hear ALL the noise! We didn't sleep well. And the shower had mildew.
