I stayed here, you dont have to.

Pros: The location and price were both good.

Cons: I didnt get to stay in the room that I booked, my room door did not lock, the fridge failed and leaked water all over the kitchen floor, the ranch slider doors both had broken glass.

Pros: The Manager was very welcoming and helpful - great customer service! I was able to store extra belongings there 3 days prior to stay (as at WOMAD), check in early and check out late, and choice of units available. Great facilities for drying camping equipment outside on grass and for washing and drying clothing from travels. Safe vehicle parking,, quiet environment,.

Cons: Shower area a bit worn out and evidence of damp but for the price I was ok with that

Other than the wifi issues everything else was good, if this problem is fixed would recommend unreservedly.

Pros: Room size, cost and location . Also staff were helpful and courteous.

Cons: Worst WIFI in New Zealand, could not connect to internet even after trying for over 2hrs, ridiculous!

Overall an excellent stay, nice and quiet with friendly, approachable staff. Easy walk to event.

Cons: Has the potential to be an excellent venue, just need some investment in new appliances and a MAJOR focus on a good clean/paint job, with a focus on the mould build up on walls and blinds Everything looked a little tired and neglected.

Cons: It was like walking in to a horror movie. Disgusting place. Melted carpet, broken curtains holes in the guttering so it was so noisy when it rained. We were woken up by the guy in the next room watching the rugby. It was like he was sitting next to me in bed it was so loud Not to mention the loud plumbing. I left some hair straighteners behind and wasn't even contacted about them. I didn't want them but, still!! It should be bowld down. Absolutel hole!!!

Close to scenic spots

Pros: Just a short drive/walking distance to some scenic spots in New Plymouth. There's a bakery and takeaway food nearby about 250meters away. Place looks old but functional with own stove, microwave, ref, electric kettle, fan, heater and kitchenware. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure.

Cons: I stayed for 6 nights. I noticed that they only took out the trash and provided fresh towels daily but the room was never cleaned nor the sheets were changed during my stay. Place needs a bit of dusting. New curtains would be nice.
