Cons: Upon arrival we got a room of a lower category than booked, when asked they confirmed it is the same category, later it was obvious it is not so we got to change the room. Staff (male) at the breakfast is not friendly, also breakfast is highly overpriced for the offer.

Amazing hotel made better by the staff.

Pros: The hotel mixes modern styling with the classical architecture of the old building very well. It wasnt over the top like a W hotel, nor too traditional. Really deserved the 5 star rating. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Everything you could ever need was present including a great office space. Bathrooms were also very spacious. The spa area was very relaxing and we enjoyed the treatment we had immensely. Sauna was one of the nicest I have been in and was able to reach high temps, unlike some other hotels. Pool and jacuzzi also a nice size and was never too crowded. The staff were exceptional and nothing was ever an issue. It felt like you could ask for absolutely anything and it would be possible. Couldnt recommend the Conservatorium for a city break more.

Cons: The lighting system was a bit over complicated which led to some technical faults.

Pros: The room was lovely, the location was fantastic for us, and the staff was amazing. The staffer checking us in immediately noticed it was my birthday, and they went out of their way to make the day special with champagne, cake, and other treats. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit in the room as well. Just a really great experience.

Cons: We struggled a little bit getting natural light in the room, but we did finally figure out how the window shades worked. We, admittedly, did not take the porter up on the offer to get a tour of the room.

Cons: Room curtains allowed light to enter and using international power socket kept pressing the open curtains button. Sometimes the room auto power saves/closes its lights while Im in the room.

Super suite with great hotel location!

Pros: Location was perfect within easy walking distance of major museums and all trams. Also close to all of our dining options. Loved the room and view. Staff was wonderful. Check-in was professional and friendly with great service.
