Pros: The bed was super comfortable, room was pretty clean, deep bath tub! The waffles were 10/10!

Cons: The pool was a little green but it being heated made up for it, would swim again. No fruit on the breakfast buffet. Our mini fridge wasn’t plugged in all the way when we got there not a huge inconvenience but it did take a bit for it to cool down.

Pros: Breakfast was ok. Muffins were very dry and not many choices. Customer service was terrible and not helpful at all on the evening/night shift. Beds were hard as a rock and the rooms could definitely use some touch ups like on the floors and paint.

Cons: The beds could have been much softer. Employees could have been more helpful and more intelligent. Breakfast could have been fresher and more variety.

Pros: Newly remodeled so everything was clean

Cons: Every year me and a 2 friends come out for an annual hunting trip that we are always looking forward to all year long. And trust me over the years there have been some questionable hotel stays. In the Surface this one was absolutely perfect decent rooms decent beds at a semi reasonable price so we thought. So we get to town and we go hunt after being in the cold all day out in the woods all we want is a hot shower and a comfortable bed so we go to check in to the hotel. To start there was a scissor lift in the lobby that they used until almost 10pm and every time they would move it the extremely loud beeper would sound off. Then the heat/ac wouldn’t hold a constant temperature. Even with the heat set at the lowest temperature of 60 degrees I would wake up pouring sweat and feeling like it was 90 degrees plus. Then there was the hot water the sink in the room the hot water would almost burn you. Then go to take a shower and have it set to the hottest setting and it would be barely warm enough to not consider cold. Oh and did I mention the towels? Well there were three of us staying and only 2 bath towels and 3 hand towels and 3 wash cloths so 1 of us had to dry off with a hand towel. No big deal life goes on. So day 2 of our stay. I go to the front desk and ask for 3 sets of towels. The clerk tells me he’s not sure if they have 3 sets. Well they didn’t. Only 2 again and a few hand towels. So here’s to drying with a hand towel again. Oh and on day 3 or our stay guess what no towels at all. And that was even after leaving all our dirty towels at the door so they could be laundered. So after reserving the room over a month ahead of time and paying a little more than we thought the room was worth for the quality of service. I can honestly say everything about it sucked. And I will never stay here again
