Pros: Charged twice for the one night stay. Charge was $123.00 which was more than quoted. Staff very unhelpful. Cold coffee. The woman at front desk last night was rude and unhelpful and ran card twice. This is still not resolved.

Pros: I requested a certain room when I booked online and I got it when I checked in! That meant a lot to me. The bed doesn't hurt my bad back at all.

Cons: We got assigned a room and went to enter and someone’s stuff was still in there. So we had to wait for another room to be prepared. The staff was nice and apologetic. We got free drinks at bar and snacks while we waited.

Cons: Our room was absolutely disgusting. There was something all over the walls, ceiling, and lamp shades. It looked like someone splashed some kind of dark drink all over the place, and it just never got cleaned. I would upload more than one photo of the room, but this review only allows one.

Beware of HUGE $75+tax pet...

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. It was also quiet.

Cons: So many things seemed to be an issue here. The biggest was the $75 pet fee that was not listed on my booking.com nor mentioned before arrival. I have never paid such a high pet fee. There were no special pet details, no pet dishes, dog bed, or anything in the room for such a high fee. When I arrived and she told me about the fee I asked why she hadn’t called in response to my booking.com message about having a dog. She said there is no way for the hotel to contact booking.com guests, they don’t have our info. I stated other properties have messaged me on booking.com. Strike 1.- $75 unannounced add-on. Then we unloaded and started the trek to our room. Our room was on the 3rd floor at the opposite end of the building from the elevator. The middle elevator was broken. The middle entrance/exit is also broken… so taking the dog out was super annoying. Strike 2- no attention to the fact that we had the dog and would be in and out frequently. Strike 3- broken doors and broken elevator. In general, the staff wasn’t very friendly. They did not even say hello the many times we walked by the front desk to go in and out (at least 8 walk bys with the front desk agent standing there not doing anything and not acknowledging us). The room itself was okay, it had a recent face lift and a comfortable bed. But old wall unit for heating, no bathroom fan. There was also garbage outside many hotel doors when we arrived, making the hallway feel dirty. The next morning at 10am when we left it was all still sitting there. As a $90 room I would have given it 4 stars. As a $191 dollar room, it ranks significantly lower.

Pros: Breakfast was well laid out and plentiful. Breakfast staff was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Cons: The pool and hot tub were closed for our stay. A heads up on this before checking in would have given us time to consider alternate options. Also, I think a discount is in order when a feature like this is out of play.
