We loved the beach. The overall experience did unfortunately not meet our expectations.

Pros: The beach was exceptional!

Cons: The rooms are dated and the pictures do not reflect the rooms correctly. Reception and Management did not take a concern we had seriously. The staff was moody at times.

Quiet, relaxing comfort..

Pros: The property is well maintained and it has the best portion of beach with palm trees in that area. The gardens and trees are extremely well looked after by an in house gardener who does and exceptional job.

The check in process is what got us down from the beginning and it was difficult to rebound.

Pros: The location was ideal. Beachfront with a pool, restaurant and bar. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Cons: Check in time is late, 4pm. We arrived at 4pm and our room wasnt ready. We were not checked in our room until after 6pm. There were other couples also waiting for check in. The check in process is extremely slow. The resort is dated. Restaurant service was slow. After the check in disappointment, we went to the resort beach for dinner and they ran out of some food items. We had a very bad first impression day.

Very comfortable thank you.

Pros: The room was very clean and although facing the main road, there was little noise to contend with.

Cons: Meals and drinks were very expensive. The hotel advertised a happy hour each day but that only related to one particular cocktail which they had selected. Thus, a Happy Hour in name only. Come on Coconut Beach, please up your game and just piggy back on the Happy Hour offered by the connected business located across the road.

Beautiful location lovely beach will stay there again

Pros: This property has a beautiful beach location. The annex cottages only have air-conditioning in the bedrooms, but the cottages are lovely but old.

Cons: The cottages do not have glass on the windows. My father got dengue fever while we were there you never see mosquitoes, but they are in side.

An amazing holiday in a stunningly beautiful location

Pros: Beautiful room facing a gorgeous sandy beach, blue sea and coconut palms. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Easy to book tours with a lady called Vaida who was such a great help and had huge knowledge about them.

The accommodation was spacious and clean. The staff could have been more polite and better food.

Pros: The beach was clean, there were always lounge chairs available and the swimming was safe. Managed to do some snorkelling too. We particularly enjoyed the shade provided by the trees.

Cons: The breakfast was too European and there was nothing local on the menu. The fruit juice was from a carton and not fresh. The fruit salad was grapes and apples. What about watermelon, pineapple, oranges, grapefruit and mangoes (when in season)?

Coconut court is an OK place to stay but is overpriced.

Pros: The location of the hotel on the main south coast road, in close proximity/ walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and two convenience stores and easily accessible by public transit was the biggest attraction for me. The staff were also very courteous and helpful.

Cons: The rooms was generally clean but housekeeping could have been a bit more thorough in the bathroom.

Loved Barbados. Hotel didnt deliver and cost me some 650 more than it should have done.

Pros: Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful - everyone from housekeeping to restaurant, bar, the lady in the shop and not forgetting the security people on the beach. Pool and beach brilliant. Great location. Excursion booking really helpful (thank you, Vaida). Teds Tours and the catamaran trip are not to be missed. Overall a very relaxed, easy atmosphere.

Cons: I booked a superior ocean front room. Unfortunately the shower didnt work and curtains wouldnt close (this was a room next to the pool and entertainment area). I was eventually moved to another room which was not a superior ocean front room. It was the same specification as the room my brother had, only he paid some 650 less than me. My consideration from the management was a bottle of sparkling wine, which I didnt drink, and a plate of fruit. For 650 this was a little disappointing. However, I came for a holiday not a public argument so I bit my tongue and got on. My brother was fuming as he had told me how good the hotel was. Bad taste all round.
