Loved it.

Pros: Tropical and colorful ambience, beautiful decor, perfect size. Wonderful cuisine, beach, suite, and staff. Such a cute, unique hotel. I would love to return.

Cons: Small mentions relative to the total experience: - With two ladies staying in the room it would have been nice if they gave each of us a small beach bag to take rather than just the one. We were told by maid & person in boutique that only the one was included for us. - The breakfast was billed as accommodation on a line item separate from the accommodation that was the room charge. It should have been labeled for what it was, breakfast, so I would not have had to pursue an explanation from staff.

Pros: Not a lot, the beach but thats a public beach, not theirs.

Cons: Very expensive for what it was. We visit Barbados twice a year in the same villa, unfortunately the house had other guests coming for the last two days of our trip so we stayed at cobblers cove as its next door. It was poor, too many rules trying to be something in the 18th century. If I want to wear flip flops to dinner in a hot country, I will. The breakfast was shocking, tasty but we were the first there and received our food after 7 other tables. Waited 40 minutes for our breakfast. Room service food was poor!!!!

Good, but way below the standard of The Sandpiper, three miles south in Holetown.

Pros: The location is great, and the hotel is pleasantly arranged in a beautiful garden. The restaurant right by the sea is beautifully situated.

Cons: The service is substandard. On several occasions we had to wait a long time in the restaurant to be served, and we overheard other guests complaining about the service and/or their food arriving cold. Furthermore our room was not made up until mid- or late-afternoon - I'd expect better when paying 1,000 GBP per night.

A week in paradise.

Pros: Breakfasts were delicious. I was especially pleased with the gluten-free options. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The gardens were lush and beautifully-kept. The pool area was well-equipped with sun beds and towels. We really appreciated the daily afternoon tea and the board games and books that were available.

Cons: The shutters in the bedrooms compromised privacy a little.

OK for a short stay. Comfortable and clean but the food needs improving.

Pros: A very attractive setting with gardens nicely laid out, . Breakfast was very good and service prompt.

Cons: The rooms are quite crowded together . Beach front rooms were not as private as one would like with sunloungers for others right outside your patio. The restaurant for lunch and dinner was dissappointing - very expensive ($150 p.p for a BBQ lunch) and the food was nothing but ordinary. Vegetables and side dishes were mostly cold and unseasoned. the steak at the BBQ was very small and quite tough. It certainly didnt add up to "one of the best restaurants in Barbados".
