the inn was a disappointment....

Pros: location was good. They did allow us to bring our dog with an additional charge. The heaters were good and warmed the room quickly.

Cons: WHen I called to make the reservation, I asked if the restaraunt onsite and the jacuzzi would be available on Thursday since Thursday was Thanksgiving. The owner/manager assured me on the phone that it would be open. When I arrived, I was informed that the spa had been closed "for years" and that was on the website. I had not seen the website having booked on Priceline and Booking.com In the morning I asked the manager again what the hours that day were for the restraunat. I got the same answer again that it had been closed for years and that the jacuzzi was closed due to Covid. This is 11/23 and while COVID is still around, it is no longer a pandemic. So on both counts I was assured something that wasn't there. She did say that the mattresses in the room were new and she told me the cost 2K. They were comfortable. But there was a smell of mold in the room. Everything was clean, but there was a moldy smell. So I will not be back again. I feel like I was lied to on the phone to get me there.

Pros: The owner and staff were pleasant people.

Cons: There was a sign saying the “spa” was closed because of COVID. I paid $144 per night per room. And saw a Booking.com ad Wednesday morning advertising Coast Inn and (no) Spa rooms for $90. I feel like you’ve cheated me.

Pros: Loved our stay at the coast inn. They staff were amazing and very helpful/friendly. Our room was nice and clean. The very enjoyable experience.

Pros: We've been going here for many years used to go there with our children when they were small in the gardens were really pretty then at that time they had a swimming pool and now it's just dated the yard is not much anymore but they did have really great mattress the bathroom was clean there was used clothing next to the nightstand when we got in our room. It's okay but we probably wouldn't stay there again.

Cons: There was: Something resembling gravy splattered on the wall; broken cold water faucet; no drain screen in the bathroom sink; filthy floors so couldn’t go barefoot; broken down furniture without drawer pulls; curtains hanging from only a few curtain hooks; inoperable deadbolt on door; no tissue; dirty coffee pot with previous guest’s used coffee; dangerous entry steps. The “spa” was a creepy situation that said closed due to Covid.

Cons: Mold in shower frame. Room so cold it took two heaters three hours to warm it, afterwards the floor stayed ice cold. Very noisy, you could hear every door open and close and all the highway noise. This is supposed to be a “spa” hotel, no spa discounts. no hot tub as advertised. across from beach not on the beach. cable tv kept going out so I just turned it off. Coffee products offered were cheap and weak and no conditioner.

Cons: needed to clean up. like outside and their was no spa. dirty floors need up date bathroom was really bad need work very small for the price was way to much for the room size and quality
