Holiday Inn Motel

Pros: They did a good job staging the pictures on the profile to make this place look nice.

Cons: I should have known when the profile picture was the hotel sign that this was probably a mistake. I didn't even notice that they didn't have but one picture of the outside of the property. Unfortunately, I trusted the "Holiday Inn" brand and went ahead and booked the room for a one night stay in Ontario...big mistake. When I arrived I quickly found out that it was located in a undesirable area with sketchy individuals wandering nearby. The outside of the facility looked rough and the neighboring buildings looked even worse. I understand they were doing some construction to hopefully make the facility better but unless you're going to move the entire building to another location, it's only going to help so much. I understand there's a place for everyone one and each person's expectations are different but if you are looking for value for the money...this place is not it. The cost per night was high for the area and so my expectation was that this was going to be a nice place to stay. I feel like I'm pretty flexible when it comes to a facility not meeting expectations but this was more than I could handle. I tried to cancel the reservation as soon as I arrived which was around regular check-in time through booking.com and also reached out to the hotel directly...no chance. Even reached out to them to see if they would be willing to consider a refund because I was not staying there...no chance. It rare that a hotel will not work with unsatisfied guests so be warned before deciding to book your stay at this hotel. They didn't seem to be concerned about whether or not you are satisfied, they just want the money. A little advice...the other Holiday In "Express" in Ontario is much nicer. Even though it's only across the highway, it is in a much more favorable location and the facilities are much better.

Stay at a Comfort Inn...

Cons: The place looked like and had the feel as it was still under construction or extensive remodel. The restaurant was terrible. Zero atmosphere, food was bad, and the service was equally bad. and you got all that for an atrocious $53.00+ for a modest breakfast type meal for 2. In my business I travelled all over the northwest and stayed in many hotels. Holiday Inn ought to be ashamed. Stay Across the highway at the Holiday Inn Express.

Pros: Clean and the staff was very friendly. There is a restaurant and bar attached that was pretty good. They gave us breakfast coupons for a free limited menu that was nice.

Cons: Remodeling and alot of amenities were not available. Didn'tknow until a non refunded booking was made.

Cons: They charged my again for the room I already paid for through your website. I was charged twice . I explained I prepaid, however they refused to except that and charged me again. Told me someone would refund me if in fact I was double charged. Very frustrating
