One of its four brands, Clarion Hotel, has branches strategically located in city centers and airports of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Latvia. Nordic Choice Hotels was established in Norway in 1990 as Choice Hotels Scandinavia. Its brands were born during their franchise agreement with Choice Hotels International in 1994. The Norwegian company is solely owned by PetterStordalen through Strawberry Hospitality Group. Under his management, the hotel chain developed over 190 hotels in Scandinavia and the Baltics.
