Opened in Reno in 1973, the Eldorado Resorts Inc was started by Donald Louis Carano. As of 2019, the company has an impressive portfolio of 26 properties spread over 12 states. They also employ over 18,000 people. The company started with the building of the Eldorado Casino north of the tracks in Reno. It featured 282 guest rooms and a 10,000 square foot gaming floor with 12 game tables and 200 slot machines.

Aside from that, the Eldorado hotel is also known for hosting several events in the area including the Hot Air Balloons Races. Pros: I liked the size of the room.good towels.all bathroom soaps, shampoo was very good. Casino was close to where I wanted to go,

Cons: Bed was hard as a rock. 2 chairs in room were so uncomfortable I had to sit on the bed.the chairs need replacing ,as you just sunk down in them, until your back ached. It seemed like every escalator going down to lobby to check in were broken, so had to use stairs.

convenient, nice, would stay here...

Pros: I loved that it was family friendly and had events outside of my sons wrestling tournament that made the experience so much more fun! My son was apart of the Reno World Tournament and having all three hotels attached was so helpful! There was absolutely no need for a rental car which saved us $300.00! My son LOVED the arcade and food places! Especially the frozen yogurt.

Cons: There was a HUGE line for the elevators to get back to the hotel room!! The line was so long that it went into through the lobby and into the casino area wrapping around the small café. There where only 6 elevators and only 3 operated my entire stay I was there. There was always at least one escalator broken per hotel (the one going up.) The bigger sit down areas that where inside Circus Circus seemed to be closed my entire stay which led us to either eat at the food court or go to another hotel to eat.

Cons: The only thing I do not like about the Casino is the smell of cigarettes even in the non smoking area! The Food Court has limited choices, they only have Panda Express, Habit, and Sub-way & Pizza.
