    Pros: The staff were friendly and the buffet was excellent.
    Cons: This is a very tired property and much in need of a major refresh. The carpets are worn and stained, the furniture likewise and the bathrooms are dated.

    Memorable, fun and beautiful.

    Pros: Loved the location - beautiful view. The hotel was so beautiful and i loved all the shops in the hotel too. The rooms were nice and spacious, and Ryukis aufguss was worldclass as always Loved every minute at Gateaux Kingdom
    Cons: Hmmi would love to have a minibar in the room with some drinks and snacks that i could buy. I checked in quite late and it would be lovely to have something to grab when the restaurants were closed

    Okay but probably would not go back again to stay. Would probably go back to the onsen spa.

    Pros: It is generally a nice hotel, and it's unfortunate that the original architectural design turned out to be rather complicated and interior spaces inefficient and not so guest friendly. But they tried to do the best they could... Their onsen spa is large and very nice, but needs some freshening up.
    Cons: The hotel has been around for quite awhile, and it is really time for an upgrade, especially to the rooms. Room were probably 'great' many years ago, but now tired and very outdated.

    Great for families :)

    Pros: Great facilities for families - pool & onsen was great for our kids (2 toddlers & a baby), and extras like a newborn bed next to our table in the restaurant made everything easier.
