    An escape from the chao.

    Pros: Feeling of the theme of house/home. Very tastefully maintained. Honestly a very peaceful environment.
    Cons: Never knew what the what word bang meant. It means river village. And location feels as if you are in a village. Taxi driver was unable to find address. GPS in Bangkok always warn about gps instructions may differ from reality. First time in Bangkok and it was a cultural shock. After 3 days at Charley house I admit I fel in love with everything about it even the very thing that am saying I did not like about it

    Great oasis in Bangkok

    Pros: Special spot in Bangkok. It's definitely a great place to go at the beginning or end of your trip to Thailand. Staff hospitable and great at giving directions. Do not be put off by the alleyway you have to walk down to get there. Great little neighborhood with a market, street food and plenty of other things around

    Clean, cozy and quiet.

    Pros: Super clean, rooms were spotless. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast, english, american, cereal, toast, etc. Very quiet, which is surprising considering it is located in busy pinklao.
    Cons: Some minor misunderstandings about our booking, but all was sorted after a few minutes. The pool was on the small side but still excellent, big enough for a few people at the same time.

    Cons: Very friendly staff room clean nice little pool but very hard to find,even most taxis didn't know where is and some from Bangkok khaosan wouldn't take me back there so be aware breakfast not bad but not good either for price it is I won't be going back

    Superb

    Pros: Truly a delightful oasis in the hustle & bustle of the big city. Don't be put off by the scruffy urban lane you need to tackle to access the place- sliding gates reveal a tranquell green garden and beautifully cool pool. The staff are super helpful and the room clean, quiet & comfortable.
    Cons: Location means you have to tackle the traffic to get to any of the major tourists sites across the river. Balancing this is the multitude of fantastic local eating spots within easy walking distance.....plus the price, awesome value for money.

    Pros: Eum... it's more local location.
    Cons: The location... it's far from all. The taxi can't enter in front of the hotel, because it's too narrow the road. You have to walk quite while to go out and enter. The rooms are old, so you can hear all noises. For us at 5am, the birds make sounds weird and loud!! It woke us every night. For me, I won't come back here. The pilow is too high!!!

    Pros: Beautiful garden and nice pool. Quiet and peaceful. Rather dated and basic room decor but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful with information.
    Cons: Not knowing in advance about ringing to ask for the mini car to bring suitcases 250 metres from main road so it was heavy going to reach the entrance. Most cabs will not go up the lane. Communication about what days breakfast won't be available could be better.
