I would definitely stay at the Charleston Place again.

Pros: The building was beautiful and the staff very helpful as well as friendly. The location was perfect for our stay.

Cons: The air conditioner in room 340 did not work 2 out of 3 nights. We had the staff bring us a fan.

Cons: Checkin was long. They didnt call us to let us know that our room was ready, instead we had to inquire. The TV didnt work for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Instead of knocking doors after 8 pm to give water to the customers, they should just leave the waters in the room when housekeeping cleans the room. The sheet was dirty when we first checked in but they promptly changed when we asked. The second day our room was not cleaned until after 4pm. The Palmetto cafe is ridiculously expensive with not so good breakfast/brunch options. Overall not the quality of service you pay for.
