Pros: Old and well maintained. Flash back 60 years, pool in the main courtyard, all rooms overlooking the pool.

Cons: Dirty, noisy, hotel under a bridge. Entrance to swimming pool was locked. Very expensive for less fun :-( Never again, rather will be sleeping at the airport. I took it because I return from the Big Island at the evening and my flight was early in the morning.

Pros: Close to the airport . Had a small market and pub attached to it . Staff were extremely helpful.. The airport shuttle was handy . Thx to the young surfer guy working in the pub . We enjoyed the chat .

Pros: The garden area, the coffee 24 hours a day. Some Staff was nice. The shuttle was good.

Cons: Very old, very basic, very expensive. Very noisy all night: trucks at midnight, car alarms, guests talking very loudly, so much noise all night. The furniture looked like it came from a thrift shop.

Cons: The room was small, dingy, dated, and worn out. The outlet in the bathroom was 6 feet away from the sink and there was no chair in the room. The bed/mattress was soft and very uncomfortable. The window air condition unit was so loud we had to turn it off. Because of the location, the property is very noisy. The pool was closed for maintenance. This is not the place to stay after a long flight from the mainland if you are looking for a good nigh’t sleep

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful, a highlight of the stay here for certain. The shuttle was prompt, the front desk clerk was efficient, there were no errors or problems in the logistics to speak of.

Cons: I think this property's prime must have been like in 1965 and its been maintained beyond the point where it should probably have been remodeled with a clean-sheet design. A poorly-installed AC leaked noise into the room where it had been inserted into a through-wall alcove that was too large, allowing out the noise to leak in. And speaking of leaks, there was a gap beneath the door nearly wide enough to stick my finger through, with humid pacific air constantly rushing in to replace the bathroom exhaust which is always on. Even worse, this lets in all the exterior sounds from traffic the other guests to overflying aircraft (and we're under the flight path). This underdoor noise and air leak fights directly with purpose of the too-noisy misinstalled AC mission to condition the air in the room. The wifi access point for the room never appeared even after rebooting it, and so I had to guess the password for a neighboring room (fortunately, this was very easy to do). All this taken together might have been acceptable if this was like a $39 Motel 6 stay, but at $200 after taxes, this was the most expensive room night in my three-month trip to Japan itinerary and I don't think it felt like a good value in the morning when I woke up hot and sticky rather than well-rested for my upcoming travels. I think some remedial care and attention is required to put this experience at the level it should be at at this price point. They're pulling in enough money that they can pay someone to do it right for their guests' sake. People are flying thousands and thousands of miles to come here and this is the most affordable hospitality in Honolulu?

Pros: Clean rooms and staff were friendly, plus the AC worked. The airport shuttle is an excellent addition too.

Cons: Rooms were a little run down, cables weren't managed for the microwave/fridge so it made it feel a bit cluttered.
