Beautiful location, with amazing view...

Pros: This hotel is great value (taking into account how expensive Hawaii is generally). It has a lovely relaxed feel and beautiful view from the room with sea breezes. I enjoyed this hotel very much. It also has a Starbucks and supermarket 5 minutes walk away which is very convenient. There’s a morning yoga class which was great too.

Pros: Loved to daily yoga and the room was very comfortable.

Cons: The lounge chairs around the property were missing straps and really need to be replaced as they are important for guests to enjoy the stay. A lot could be done to the landscaping (replace dead and sick plants) it’s Hawaii after all. Would appreciate housekeeping without a hassle, sure why it’s not automatically offered but me carting my towels to the front desk was not cool. Biggest issue was the older grumpy woman at the front desk someone with this attitude should not be in a customer service position! I read a lot reviews where staff was mentioned negatively and I immediately recognized why☹️

Good hotel, but not environmental...

Pros: Good location, nice staff and great to have a pool (although we didn’t actually use it). The grab and go breakfast was something we didn’t know was included, but was a fantastic way to start our day.

Cons: The main downside was that you had to additionally request maid service/cleaning so generated rubbish, which wasn’t removed, and the beds weren’t otherwise made. We also felt that there wasn’t enough commitment to recycling, especially re breakfast, where there wasn’t a recycling bin and so much unnecessary landfill waste generated - sad on such a beautiful island.

Pros: The amenities were great, we were able to take bikes out for a day and had the grab and go breakfast every morning.

Cons: House keeping does come very early if you’re on the top floor

Taking sun in broken chairs

Pros: Not clean at all in the parking garage.

Cons: The chairs for taking sun are all broken. Terrible. Monday can take sun there. The towels are too old. And for the cleaning service you have to ask 24h before.

Pros: Great room in a nice location. Breakfast was good but no coffee. ALL else was perfect. Fun place to stay and the outside boardwalk/trail was a bonus.

Cons: In room coffee maker was super gross and needs filter cleaned. I'd much rather get coffee with the breakfast but that might just be me. But i def need a clean coffee maker.

Ocean-side vacation stay

Pros: Older motel-style property that's had a bit of a facelift to update/modernize. Staff was pretty friendly and accommodating.

Cons: Their towel card policy added a layer of complexity that I didn't need while I'm vacation. They also did t have any onsite staff except security overnight which made it a little tricky to check out ahead of time as they wouldn't hold my bags overnight (due to security reasons). I had a boat excursion that departed before their staff arrived on site at the hotel, so it complicated things a bit. Hotel staff had to call security to see if they would make an exception (which they ended up doing), but it was aot of back-and-forth for a service that every hotel I stayed at before has been happy to oblige when it's requested. They have late check out but it's $15 per hour for every hour after your initial check out time. Felt like the Frontier of hotels.

Nice and smooth

Pros: Cozy room. Beautiful option of free morning yoga classes.

Cons: The Bull Shed Restaurant was a bit messy in the sense that they were very disorganized in handling orders.
