    A wonderful experience.

    Pros: It was wonderful to stay in what feels like a real castle (especially for a castle geek). The rooms are all individual and nicely decorated. Great views towards Perugia. We used the pool (which was chilly in October) but it was lovely to sit in the 40C jacuzzi immediately afterwards. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast. The staff were great and the menu was different and interesting; I had been worried I wouldnt find anything to suit my tastes but in the end we are very well. The selection at breakfast was excellent. It was my birthday that weekend and the restaurant staff marked it both at dinner and breakfast (the latter with a beautifully decorated plate with a fruit torta) which was much appreciated.
    Cons: It would have been nice to have tea/coffee makings in the room. The restaurant is extremely modern in style which is a slight shame since you are staying in a castle - but I imagine that couldnt be avoided!

    Gorgeous castle with beautiful grounds and wonderful service.

    Pros: What a beautiful property!!! We arrived right before sunset and were able to enjoy the golden hour with the gin drinks made out of the flower that grows on the property. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel and enjoyed a glass of wine while playing board games in one of the many rooms at the hotel. Loved the provided bath robes. The breakfast was amazing!!!! such a great variety with tiniest details and impeccable service. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous, and we loved our short but unforgettable stay.

    Pros: Beautiful property. Authentic brick-walled castle room. Sumptuous over-the-top buffet breakfast.
    Cons: Only complaint was that the a/c seemed to be on some type of timer. We would turn it on before bed and a short time later it would stop - it was disruptive to sleep to wake up to the hot and stuffy air to turn it back on. A fan in the room would solve the problem since the temps were cooler in Oct.

    Superb

    Pros: It was a real treat to stay at such an amazing facility. The location was very good being just outside of the city of Perugia. The Castello and its grounds have been renovated and maintained to a very good standard. Rooms were unique and very comfortable.

    Pros: Breakfast was good. View from the castle to Perugia breath taking. Friendly reception. Room comfortable, everything worked, wifi, AC....the garden inviting to sit and come down.
    Cons: My "standard" room had a window near the ceiling, so I had to stare at the walls.

    Unique place to stay

    Pros: Great view of the valley and Perugia from the property. The castle is very well taken care off, it is a unique and peaceful place. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms were comfortable.
    Cons: Would have been nice to have more warm dishes options for breakfast.
