    A dream home from home

    Pros: This year, like so many other guests, we returned to Cambridge House, Kazu, Thana & Sora. We love their passion for finding joy in nature and food, & their sense of humour too. The degustation dinner was exceptional- as was the breakfast. 2024 will have us dreaming of those dishes. What they are doing there is art, & they're always evolving and exploring how to enhance a full sensory experience. We love what they do and who they are

    we will be back a hidden gem that is well worth the experience.

    Pros: The hosts were amazing - helping with bookings and providing an amazing Japanese style breakfast which would have to be one of the best Ive ever enjoyed. The property was beautifully presented and the hosts encouraged to share the highlights of their property.
    Cons: We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer!

    Pros: We had an exceptional stay here. The Japanese breakfasts were very good and the additional tasting menu with paired wine and sake was truly memorable. Afternoon tea by the river was also a treat. Thana and Kaz were also perfect hosts. We will definitely be coming back!

    A real Foodies destination

    Pros: Food is the star of the show at Cambridge House. With the Japanese influenced breakfast that changes daily to the optional Japanese degustation menu at night, the food is truly excellent. The old house has loads of character and the old garden with creek at the bottom make it a quiet haven to relax in.
    Cons: The WiFi was a bit weak but that was about the only downside. The rest of the property was comfy and relaxed.

    Pros: More than met our expectations. Amazing hospitality, with exceptional attention to detail. Beautiful location on the river for some platypus spotting. Thank you for making the birthday celebrations special. Highly recommend adding in the tasting menu and beverage pairing, we loved every dish and drink paired.
